Odd Question, but can these be used for a cat's capsule? I'm currently wrapping two cat pill pockets around a kitty Prozac capsule. I'm thinking the dog pill pockets would be bigger?

Answer by ChewyMar 07, 2018
These pill pockets are not made for cats. Greenies makes the Pill Pockets Feline Chicken Flavor Cat Treats.

Can you freeze these for time in between medications?

Answer by ChewyFeb 03, 2023
The manufacturer has stated the following about this product – “We would not recommend freezing our pet food or treats. Freezing may affect the taste and texture. Additionally, freezing the food would not extend the shelf-life."

Are these capsules?

Answer by ChewyOct 20, 2022
These treats act as a way to hide a capsule-sized pill inside.

My dog is on a low fat diet due to pancreatitis. How much fat do these contain? Are they safe for dogs with a history of pancreatitis?

Answer by ChewyMar 09, 2019
These pill pockets have a fat content of 10.0%. Due to your pet's medical condition, it's recommended to consult with your veterinarian to ensure this treat is safe to give.

Apollo Emergency visit

I put Apollo’s Heart worm, flea and tick pill in a greenie as recommended because he hates meds. He would not eat it at all so I put it down his throat. 2 hours later he got really sick and threw up and got really ill. $750 later he was fine. Vet said it was definitely something he ate so I assume he was allergic to the greenie.

Makes it easier to give pills to our dog. I wasn’t sure I could use them as it has dried corn syrup in them. One of the things my dog has allergies to is corn so I wasn’t sure if the dried corn syrup would be an issue. But since her meds are as needed it not an everyday use. So far it’s been ok.

Pill pockets work!

Pepper is my oldest dog and always seems to taste the pills I have to give her. She actually nibbles around any pill I try to hide. But so far I got her fooled

My dog Rocket thinks literally everything I hand him is poison. Kibble? Poison. Treats? Definitely poison. Even the good stuff gets the side-eye like I’m plotting his untimely demise. Enter Greenies Pill Pockets, the ultimate doggy deception. They’re magical little chicken treasures! He doesn’t hesitate for a second. No suspicion, no investigation, no “are you trying to kill me?” look. Just pure joy and immediate chomping. Highly recommend for paranoid pups everywhere!

I bought this pen on the revommendation of my dog's neurologist. My dog had 3 small strokes and now has a foot drag but I don't know which one. I was supposed to paint my dogs toenails and then see which toes the polish was scratched off of. The directions on the pen state to depress the nib multiple times and shake vigorously in between pressing the nib. After 10 minutes of pressing and shaking nothing came out. Finally the nib popped out of the tip of the pen and flew behind a bookcase where it will stay until infinity. What a piece of garbage and complete waste of money!

I would give five stars if it wasn’t squished by during shipping, quite slick, or slightly crackly due to needing to excessively reshape the smelly pockets. This should be a jarred product. I think the fact that it was stinky made my cat more interested. I gave two to my cat with a crunchy treat inside each to see how he would do with them. He is on a wet diet and rarely chews. He had difficulty swallowing the first one, but still got it down. On the second one, he crunched once or twice but still got it down just as fast. I would rather recommend buying these in person. The dog pill pocket ingredients are nearly identical to the feline ones; and, they are less expensive per ounce. One could definitely cut these in half to extend the supply.

Very easy for my dog to chew, but bad for his digestion

My 14 y.o. dog loved the flavor and was able to easily chew. However, this upset his stomach bad. I only gave him two, but he had bloody diarrhea a couple days later

My 14 y.o. dog loved the flavor and was able to easily chew. However, this upset his stomach bad. I only gave him two, but he had bloody diarrhea a couple days later. Unfortunately, I must give this away, because I don't want to do harm to my fur baby.
