Very Happy with This Food
My 3 dogs are between 50 and 70 lbs. They are very enthusiastic when it comes to eating this food. I feed them 2x a day, their poop looks great. The dogs are all tail wags and eat every morsel in their bowls. I like the different shapes and knowing that it's non GMO and great ingredients, will be making this my go to dog food from now on.
Had to Get Refunded
We tried this food for our 50Lb American Bully girl. She liked it and ate it, however within 2 weeks we started noticing abnormal huge stools and frequent. Poor girl couldn't hold them and was messing in the house. She was stooling massive amounts 5-6 times a day. I called Chewy and they graciously refunded my money. I put her back on Proplan and she is back to normal with 2 normal stools a day.
Gave her scoots
Both my dogs had a bad reaction to this one. I have to switch brands again. The beef they did okay with for a while and then started getting bad stool. The bacon was immediately bad stool. :( It's unfortunate because I wanted this brand to work out.
Best Food Ever!
Love this food and so do my dogs. I spent a lot of time researching quality dog foods and comparing their ingredients, protein, fat,& moisture etc levels. I compared it with the higher-priced name brand vet recommended dog foods and this has the same quality ingredients-for a much more affordable price And it has never had a recall either!
Stellar dog food!
My four hounds love this dog food! Energy levels improved with my two seniors! Skin and coat perfect! Stools perfect! Weight perfect. My vet is listening!
Good Food Good Quality
My Saint Bernard, my husky, rottweiler and my border collie all love this food. I switch it up between the beef bacon flavor and the salmon flavor. They love both.
Great product
We were busing the chicken flavor & we noticed softer thicker coat & more energy. When we got Lola we realized she was allergic to chicken & even though the bag may be listed as lamb & rice the 2nd ingredient is chicken. Discovered this variety & both dogs loved it, lost Chloe last week.
A big nope!
First off, it smells nasty, like rancid dog chow. Dogs didn't like it. Even a Pug spit it out! Really had high hopes for this.
My Giants have a food they love
They finally have a food my guys love completely,it's great when you actually hear them smack their lips...I'm so happy
Best Brand around!!
We have been using the Gentle Giant brand for 6 months now. Our dogs love the food. We prefer salmon, but Chewy has been out of stock on salmon for months. What we noticed when we switched. 1 - our one dog who is 11 years old perked up after about a month of eating the food. 2 - other dog has food allergies and we have noticed since we put her on this food, she no longer licks her paws or gets blood blisters on her face. 3 - was told by the company I wouldn't need to have teeth cleanings, as this food is really good at removing the tartar from their teeth. I am a believer! Last vet visit, was told teeth cleaning would not be needed. It's been almost a year since they last had the cleaning.
