I followed the feeding guidelines on your packaging, but my pet is too fat/thin. Why?
Feeding Guidelines are simply a place to start. You should increase or decrease the amount you feed based on your pet’s activity level and weight.
Are the ingredients used in Petcurean products “human-grade”?
All of our fresh meat and meat meal ingredients are sourced from animals passed fit for human consumption by the CFIA. The fruits and vegetables used in our recipes also come from the human food chain. We do not, however, claim that our ingredients are “human-grade”; once an individual ingredient leaves a “human-grade” processing facility and enters a “pet food” processor, the ingredient loses its “human-grade” classification.
What is an organic ingredient?
A certified organic ingredient provides a guarantee that the ingredient has met strict government standards for how food is grown, handled and processed; using organic agricultural methods. Organic agriculture focuses on farming practices that encourage soil and water conservation and regeneration, and reduces pollution. Organic farmers use natural fertilizers and pest control methods to benefit the soil, plants and animals for a healthy environment.

I think this is a scientifically well made product so I'm giving it a two for its composition but it did NOT bring our kitties to the yard. The 3 who tried it hated it. So, luckily we have Purina Pro Plan's Sensitive Skin to go back to. :)

Cats Love It, EZ on GI Tract
My 3 cats were really excited about this food. I blended it initially with only a little of their old food. Saw no issues with poops in the elimination side. Too soon to see skin/coat benefits though.

Clumps of Hair
My cats do like this food, but it’s pretty expensive for what you get. I was scooping out the food and found like tufts of grey hair/fur and also makes my cats urine smell really strong almost like rotten potatoes. I will not be buying again.

Yummers, according to the kits
My three cats love this food. Currently, I am mixing it in with their prescription food and they are eating both - not picking one out from the other. Their prescription food has nearly doubled in price over the last couple of years, so I hope to get them off of it. I’m sure this food will also go up, but for now it is a reasonable price and seems to be of good quality. What I have noticed is that they are satisfied for much longer when eating this food. With their rx food they are always hungry and wanting to eat more often. I am hoping it is due to the nutrients and not the pea fiber, as I am not a fan of pea fiber.

A Homerun!
I had to substitute this for what I usually order. My outdoor cat took to it and cleaned her bowl. She brought a friend with her one day, and she cleaned her bowl right up also, so I would say this was a home run.

Helps with vomiting
I have a 12 year old cat who has had horrible violent vomiting over the years. I have tried many foods over the years and this food helps greatly. They used to make a pollack recipe which helped greatly but they stopped making it over a year ago. I tried this recipe and it works!

Wow, what a difference
I’ve always given my cat high quality cat food. However, her hair started feeling coarse and lost it’s shine, and she started having dandruff. Several days on this food and her hair has is shine back, it’s silky again, and the dandruff is clearing up. I’m a believer!
