The amount of food your cat needs will vary depending on breed, activity level, age and climate. Use our feeding chart as a guide, adjusting the quantity fed to achieve your cat's ideal weight.

We suggest feeding twice a day, kittens more often. Provide fresh, clean water at all times. Love, attention, playtime and chin scratches should be given freely, as often as possible.

Pregnant/lactating females: increase intake by 50%.

Transition Instructions

It’s important to slowly transition your pet to a new food so their system has a chance to adapt to the change. The transition period should be at minimum, 10 days and could take upwards of 2 weeks, depending on your pet’s sensitivity to change.

  • Day 1 & 2: Feed 80% of your pet’s old food with 20% of the new food
  • Day 3 & 4: Feed 60% of your pet’s old food with 40% of the new food
  • Day 5 & 6: Feed 40% of your pet’s old food with 60% of the new food
  • Day 7, 8 & 9: Feed 20% of your pet’s old food with 80% of the new food
  • Day 10 & Forever: Feed 100% new food

Just not for Tiger he really did not like

    By on

I have been buying Blue for my cat (part siamese) very spoilt and picky. This was my mistake. I thought it was in the Blue family. (NOT) I was hoping he would get the benefit from the skin & coat care. I try to put my tuna on it and he is just not having it. I tried!

    Best food ever!!!

    By on

The entire petcurean line has been so good for my cats, I get comments regularly on how shiny they look, my vet is impressed with how healthy they both are since adoption. They even ask me what I've been feeding them so they can recommend it to other customers. My cats, like many I am sure are picky on flavor, so they have not been too crazy about the stews, but they eat up all of the other flavors.

    Perfect for allergenic babies!

    By on

I too, had selected whatever food in the pet store - until I noticed Stella was scratching and cleaning -too- regularly, new bald patches appearing every day, a few hot spots. I toyed with the idea of taking her to the vet... until I realized the whatever food I picked out had grain in it! Immediately, I took to Chewy to find a grain-free dry cat food for Stella, and she begs for it all day! This food has restored her coat to normal. The kibble pieces are small, making it suitable for kittens of all ages.

Skin and Coat Dry Cat Food

    By on

I have four cats who love to eat! I thought I would add some food into their diet for skin and coat health. Not one of them will eat the food. I will donate it to the shelter. Maybe a hungry cat there will eat it.

    Great for Sensitive Stomachs!!

    By on

I finally found a dry kibble that doesn't send my cat into severe diarrhea and vomiting!! She's been on prescription foods, which worked for a few months and then back to severe IBS symptoms. So far, so good!! I'm trying the Go! wet duck pate with the limited ingredient formula now. Hopefully that will work for her also. Need to mention that your customer service is the best!! When I told them about my cat and her above problems, they stayed on the phone with me and made many suggestions to help!!

Really seeing a difference in coat

    By on

My cat loves it. The pieces are tiny and she's a dainty thing so it's perfect. She also had pretty intense dandruff last month, but this seems to have cleared that up thankfully.
