The description specifically states up to 21 characters so I’d imagine that’s all that will fit given the size of the collar. However,you may look for a bit larger size that may offer more characters. Hope this helps.

The breakaway collar just makes it so the latch isn't too hard to be undone in case your cat gets stuck on something. The collar can be reused even if your cat had to utilize the breakaway feature.

useless product, very poor customer service by gotags

I purchased this item late last year. At the time of purchase I made a mistake by omitting 1 digit of my phone number and was notified that the order did not go

I purchased this item late last year. At the time of purchase I made a mistake by omitting 1 digit of my phone number and was notified that the order did not go through. I contacted Chewy to give them the correct info but was told I needed to notify gotags. I called them multiple times, always leaving a message with the correct info since no one ever answered their customer service number. Each time I called I asked them to contact me to let me know they now had the info and would process the order. They never processed the order and Chewy eventually cancelled the order. I reordered it a second time and received it. Unfortunately, it would not stay on my cat more than an hour. My cat is very sedentary and never scratched at it, if she so much as touched something it would fall off. Totally useless - the company and the product.

Nobody's fault but my own because I didn't see that the cat's neck was supposed to be 8 in around in order to wear this color. My cat is Tiny and so the color was useless for me but because it was personalized I didn't think I would be able to return it. But it seems like a good color if you have a huge cat.

This is my second one of these collars. My cat wore out the first (she's an adventure cat and rolls around all over the place). The stitching is very clear and easy to read. I love the bell because it let's me know where she is while adventuring outside. The clasp is sturdy and has never come off accidentally. Over time, the clasp does wear out, though, which is why I had to replace it. Great product, affordable, and functional!

Reflective but thats about it

First, I bought the standard size for a cat collar. This collar seems to be made for a dog-sized cat. When I tighten it to where I need it to be for my standard sized cat, it blocks some of the writing on the collar, completely defeating the purpose. It’s so stiff that it was difficult to even size correctly. It appears poorly made, I don’t see how the lettering lasts, and there is no place to attach a tag if it does wear off. I have purchased many collars over the years for my cats and this one is probably the worst I’ve come across. My cats only wear their collars when they go to the vet as an extra precaution but I couldn’t see having this on any of them for any period of time. The only positive is that the reflective tape on the collar seems to work.

I love these collars, I have 3 cat's (in-outside) there are also other cats, an animals in my neighborhood... My neighbors see the collars and they know who's cats. Night time you can see the collar from a good distance which I love. I love the quick release as well, I have 3 collars somewhere in the neighbor hood... But at lease they can home. I would not buy and other collars.

I really liked this collar because of its bright vivid color, I ordered orange. Not only it's color but also it's reflective qualities were exceptional ; the name and phone number appears in bold lettering. Fits my cat's neck, easily adjustable, all that is great yet I only gave it 4 stars because of it's ONE flaw. Yep, the breakaway release. All my cat had to do was scratch his neck at the right spot on the collar and poof it came undone and collar was off. I need a traditional NON breakaway collar. My cat likes to go inside but he doesn't travel far, just my yard , all grass, no bushes, trees, etc to get hooked up on or caught in so I didn't think there would be an issue in ordering it. I didn't expect him scratching himself to release it. Pulls apart much too easy! On to another hunt for a belt like type collar. No Breakaways! If anyone has any suggestions please let me know! Thanks!
