Freeze-Dried, Grain-Free Food

ARTISAN
Combines tasty tidbits of meat, potatoes, carrots, apples, blueberries and cranberries, and some recipes add bananas, pumpkin, and sweet potatoes.

Pureformance
These recipes start out with chicken, rabbit, goat, lamb or fish, plus wholesome chickpeas, a low-glycemic legume that's full of protein, folic acid and fiber.

Valor
Tasty chicken, turkey or fish is the main course, and quinoa is added as a gluten-free superfood that offers extra protein and amino acids.

Macanna
This food helps increase your pet's nutrient intake with superfood ingredients like hemp hearts, coconut, kale and turmeric.
Freeze-Dried, Grain-Free Treats

Singles
Choose your dog's favorite protein (or sweet potatoes, if that's his thing) with these single-ingredient treats.

Starters
Made to match the complete food formulas with five of the same ingredients, so you can serve it as an appetizer.

Tiny Tidbits
Bite-sized meatball treats that make satisfying snacks between mealtimes.
Organic, Oven-Baked Treats
These bakery-fresh treats are certified kosher and made from 100% organic, non-GMO ingredients. They're baked into a bear shape and loaded with fruits and vegetables.

Grandma's Special Tummy Remedy
Simple Remedy is just what the (doggie) doctor ordered for an upset stomach. It's the traditional recipe for nausea, vomiting and diarrhea that's easy to digest and gentle on the stomach. This formula is recommended by veterinarians as something you can feed your pup in place of his regular meal until he's back to normal. The recipe is simple—just boneless, skinless chicken breast meat and plain white rice. Add some water, and it's ready to serve!
Nothing Less Than the Best
To make premium pet food, you have to start with the best ingredients. Grandma Lucy's is committed to using GMO-free, human-grade ingredients that meet strict specifications. All ingredients are USDA-inspected and approved, including fresh meat, fruits and veggies from trusted farms. Over 87% is sourced from the US, and Grandma Lucy's maintains personal contact with all growers and suppliers.

About Grandma Lucy's
With a name like Grandma Lucy's, you'd expect a company that's family-owned and operated—one that you can trust. And that's exactly what you'll find. Since 1999, the Shook family has created pet foods of the same quality and made from the same healthy ingredients as their own food. Their main taste tester was Lucy, an 11-year-old Cocker Spaniel who had no problem turning down food she didn't like. These recipes have passed the Lucy taste test, so you know your pets are sure to love them just as much.

Great For Extra Gravy
By Barbylon on Jan 31, 2021
I feed my kitties canned food for lunch only; I give them dry food mornings and evenings. My old guy Tommy is very finicky about lumpy cat food. He licks up all the gravy and leaves the pieces in his bowl, bone dry. And then, he begs for food an hour later. He ignores pate unless I make it "soupy." Because these liver treats crumble easily, they make a great thickener, when mixed with a little warm water. Tommy loves the taste so much he usually finishes the food he formerly rejected! Not only is he getting more nutrition, but he stays full until it really is time for dinner.

My small dogs love liver but the dog size was to big so going to this size keeps things in perspective for my dogs.

Good Ingredients...BUT My Cats Didn't Touch These Treats
By Onerebecca on Jul 7, 2020
I feel I cannot mark down this product to 1-3 STARS, because cats are finicky! I have 3 cats ages 5, 9, and 18 not one of my cats liked these treats. The snacks are too hard in my opinion for cats. They would be better for dogs. The ingredients are good and I would at least try them since Chewy is so great with returns in your pet doesn't like the treats.

to dry and crumbley
By Ruth on Sep 11, 2020
I know it's supposed to be dry but when you try to break it in smaller pieces for cats it just turns to powder. I ended up with more powder than treat.

A treat but so much more!
By NoahsMother on Nov 12, 2019
I read a recommendation for these on a website about the best foods for pets. I tried them and they were an instant hit. My dog (who will eat almost anything) and both my cats (very fussy) love these. I put them on auto-ship. These are so much better than empty calorie treats.

Best Treats EVER!
By momoftwocats on Jun 3, 2019
My two kitties love these treats so much so - that they come running as soon as I approach the closet where I keep the bag of treats!!! My pug is also a very big fan - she likes cleaning up the crumbs.

She hates these. Turns her nose up at them. Won't even play with them.

Southern Lady

These are parts of WHOLE chicken livers, not the compressed cubes you find in other liver treats. They are only available on Chewy.

The Cats Love this One
By Diane on Oct 17, 2018
They all loved these right when I opened the bag. Some of the nuggets are a little big for a cat but they break fairly easily, being a porous organ, and they're a big hit.
