Grandma's Special Tummy Remedy
Simple Remedy is just what the (doggie) doctor ordered for an upset stomach. It's the traditional recipe for nausea, vomiting and diarrhea that's easy to digest and gentle on the stomach. This formula is recommended by veterinarians as something you can feed your pup in place of his regular meal until he's back to normal. The recipe is simple—just boneless, skinless chicken breast meat and plain white rice. Add some water, and it's ready to serve!
Nothing Less Than the Best
To make premium pet food, you have to start with the best ingredients. Grandma Lucy's is committed to using GMO-free, human-grade ingredients that meet strict specifications. All ingredients are USDA-inspected and approved, including fresh meat, fruits and veggies from trusted farms. best dog food
By raqdel on Jan 15, 2021
My dogs love this stuff as soon as I place the bowl on the floor they gobble it up quick. And my dog that was overweight has lost some pounds eating this food. I will continue to feed my dogs this food from now on.

Nice ingredients list
By aboyandhisdog on Jun 11, 2020
It smells like chicken noodle soup. My dogs seem to like it but I can't say that they love it. The first night I fed them this my older dog looked at me like "and you expect me to eat this?". But since then they have gobbled it down, just maybe not as enthusiastically as I might like. Some of the freeze dried chicken chunks are large and you need to break them up by hand so that they are able to rehydrate sufficiently. You have to gauge the exact amount of water or else it will be too thick or too runny - unlike Honest Kitchen or Spot Farms where you could just wait a bit longer if it was thin and it would set up more. But is a good mix with a kibble and seems quite healthy. And It smells like chicken noodle soup. My dogs seem to like it but I can't say that they love it. My dog loves this food and I like it because it is not full of potatoes like some of the other freeze-dried foods.

Food Good, Info Wrong
By gwtterry on Jul 19, 2020 Top 500 Contributor
The food is good and my dog did well on it, but I bought the bag thinking it would last 2 months per the faq showing 182 cups in a 10 lb bag and it ended up lasting 17 days. More like 50 cups. Yikes!

Best dog food!
By Renae on Jun 6, 2020
I’ve been feeding this to my dog for years. All the ingredients are natural and it has the highest rating I’ve ever seen on dog food advisor. I’ve switched to other “high quality” dog food but this one keeps my dog the healthiest and at a healthy weight. Not to mention it smells so good I almost want to eat it myself! I highly recommend!

Good stuff, dog loves it
By Fletcher on Jun 27, 2020
Nice to be able to get this stuff in a larger bag, when you have a big dog, the 3lb bags don't even last a week, and the Grandma Lucy's chicken or beef is the only thing our dog can eat because of his allergies.

great food!
By Debbie on Dec 28, 2019
I have been using this food for about a year now. I give my dogs about half Grandma Lucy's and half their regular kibble. Since I started using the Grandma Lucy's raw food, both of them have had way fewer stomach upsets, vomiting, etc. For a raw food, it is easy to use and also very affordable.

dogs like it
By Mitch on Dec 19, 2019 Top 1000 Contributor
Good quality and dogs like . I wish it was raw instead of cooked and also that chick peas weren’t 2 Nd on ingredient list. I bought this thinking it was raw cause it said freeze dried usually freeze dried refers to raw. I guess I didn’t read fine print.Dogs like it though and I have started using a little with their raw.
