We started our dog on the petite Greenies as soon as she was old enough. We followed the age of six months guideline. She has graduated to the original size now. We give her one of these every afternoon. She has learned the sound of the crinkly bag as well as the word greenie. Either one will get her running. She immediately appears and sits at an eager attention. We highly recommend Greenies Dental Treats.
I got these because my vet tech mentioned them off handed. I thought ok cool, affordable dental treat. Much cheaper than $800 dental cleanings every year! They do nothing. Read the ingredients. Not amused. Wheat flour is the first one? My bad, should've read more carefully the first time around.
I was super surprised that these actually work, but my old doggo can't eat raw anymore and his breath has been KICKIN. I started giving him either half or one of these a day when he runs back in after going out to potty (might as well reinforce recall) and i do think it has helped a lot, and i definitely notice when he hasn't been getting these. Will it cure bad breath all on its own? No. But will it work in conjunction with other breath products (mypetlab dental additive too)? i say yes. Im much more willing to let my old man snuggle up now.
I am disappointed because I feed my dog greenies but I did take my dog to vet to pull 7 teeth because it was not good teeth .how greenies work his teeth .my dog loves greenies .I do not know if he can eat greenies after get better because tooth lost
My dog waits patiently every night while we eat dinner. The minute I stand up he races to where Greenies are stored. He proudly makes a loop around our island then settles on area rug to eat his treat. I love this routine and so does he!
I love these for my pups. They're hard enough that it takes them a while to chew them up, but they're not so hard that they splinter. We've had that problem with other brands. They also don't cause my pups any digestive issuess.
I find it interesting that when I give my dogs regular treats, they just munch them down... when I give them the Greenies, they take them to "their special place" and chew on them there.
My dogs get very excited to hear that it's time for Greenies! They do a good job neutralizing your dogs bad breath, but I'm not sure if I can say their breath smells better
My dog loves these and they work well between teeth brushings. Helps with bad breath too. However, if you have squirrels on your street, beware they like their rodent teeth shiny and fresh too! My last autoship boxes sat on my porch for a day during holiday travel, oops (sometimes shipping is too fast! Jk). When I got home squirrels had chewed into the box and chewed through only the Greenies bag - nothing else - and surgically removed 7 chews from the bag! A few days later I found remnents of knawed down Greenies at the base of trees at park down the road. I suppose the squirrels want to flash their new pearly whites at their holiday parties! Had a good laugh. Guard your Greenies!
My dog Finley loves these dental treats. He gets one each night at 8:30 to help control plaque buildup on his teeth. He starts staring at the "Greenie" container around 7:30 and will glance from the container to me and back for the next hour. I can't say enough positive things about these treats. Finley is addicted to them and I can tell a difference in his "doggie" breath since he started using these.
