Why do some Greenies have poultry flavoring and some don't? My dog is allergic to chicken and I'm trying to figure this out.
Answer by ChewyDec 20, 2017
Poultry flavoring is often used for palatability and doesn't contain the poultry allergen. However, we do encourage that you consult with a veterinarian to make sure this is the best fit for your pet.

Are Greenies safe for a dog with liver problems?
Answer by ChewyDec 07, 2019
Due to your pet's diagnosed condition, we recommend consulting with your veterinarian to see what would be a good fit for your pet's current treatment plan. Dietary and other healthcare changes should be made under the guidance of your vet, particularly when underlying health conditions exist.

Weight Management Greenies

My dog loves these Greenies . She is on prescription diet food, so she can only get them three times a week. She gobbles them up when I do give them to her.

Greenies are great

I don’t know what is in them. My girl’s love them, and they do keep their teeth clean.

Good treat

I like these but I do like the old green, bone shaped dental treats with a vannila/whit estreak on it, better. I miss those and so does my dog.

He Can’t Tell the Difference

I always get teenie size to cut calories but I decided to try weight management since it was about the same price for a 96 pack instead of the 130 pack. Similar in size and color, visually no difference. There is a slight smell but that’s to be expected with dog treats. When presented with regular and weight management he chose both without hesitation so they must both taste good.

It’s better than nothing

Greenies is a favorite of our pups. They look forward to it first thing in the morning. One is 13 lbs. The other is 19 lbs. They are of similar height, so the latter needs to lose a couple of lbs. This new product is part of a comprehensive plan to help the YorkiePoo shed a couple of lbs. for her own health and longevity. Whether or not it helps with their dental health really depends on the time each dog takes to really chew, savor and keep it in their mouth. But some dental care is better than no dental care.
