Training Lead

This is a good no frills training lead and should be used for that only. It works very well for recall, which means teaching your dog to come when called. This is not a walking leash (those should be 6 ft long at most). It's not intended for use as a tie out either, since those should be stronger. This is will shred or fall apart easily, especially if chewed on. Works great for me!

Freedom with boundaries

Our “Harley Houdini” loves to be out front, but really loves to take off up the street! This lead is perfect to let him go out front but within our boundaries! Strong and durable, this lead will last for years!

Just what we needed!

Appa has been working on her recall in busy outdoor settings. Upon initial opening, 20ft was a lot of leash! I'm glad I got the 20ft option. I quickly learned how to gather the leash while walking her into the field where we practice things like stay, lie down, and come. My brother asked me why i didn't get a retractable leash and I genuinely prefer my pup thinking she has full range. A retractable leash can still feel like a tether at times, while this leash gives her full slack. I'm excited to keep training her and am glad I got this lead.

Broke in a few weeks.

We bought this for our lab puppy to practice recall and for hikes, but it broke in less than one month after using it.

Just what we need

This is a sturdy yet light leash, we use it daily on our walks. When we approach another dog or person I loop it shorter. At the park where there is more space I give him the full length so he can explore and sniff. I’m currently training him to fetch (and don’t totally trust his recall) because it is lighter I leave it clipped on him and it doesn’t impair his gait or speed.

Perfect for Me!

I have had two of these and they work great for us! Both of my dogs are between 60-70 lbs and my Blue Heeler/Cattle Dog is a powerhouse of solid muscle and so far so good! I imagine if I got the lead wet, used at the beach or lake it would probably not stay weaved well as it is cotton or if you had a really big dog but for mine, keeping it dry and using it for training mostly (and not a daily tie out with constant resistance), I am happy with it! Nice and light, easy to tie up sections that I'm not using. Worth it!!!

Works great

I purchased this to let my dog run & play in a large field. Gives her a 100ft diameter and fabric has give so doesn’t pull when she goes to the end. Good quality.
