About Halo Holistic

Responsibly Sourced Proteins

Halo Holistic recipes are responsibly sourced, so you can feel good about what you’re feeding your pet. The poultry in their meat-based recipes is sourced with a focus on animal welfare, and the fish they use is either sustainable or wild-caught.

Complete Digestive Health

Immunity starts with a healthy gut. That’s why Halo Holistic is made with prebiotics, probiotics and postbiotics for complete digestive health. Prebiotics help nourish good gut bacteria, while probiotics help digest food. Postbiotic compounds help support immune health and overall well-being.

What’s in Your Cat’s Bowl?

With Halo, you won’t see a “meat meal” hiding anywhere in the ingredients, and there’s no corn, wheat, wheat gluten, rice or artificial colors, preservatives or flavors. Here’s what you will find:

High-Quality & Responsibly Sourced

Every Halo Holistic recipe is responsibly sourced and independently certified. Why? Because certification is the best way to ensure that meat is raised in an ethical manner. These independent organizations ensure that ingredients are sourced in an ethical, sustainable and socially conscious way. The result is higher quality ingredients that contain more nutrients — and higher quality food for your pet.

Prebiotics, Probiotics & Postbiotics

Halo gives you more than just probiotics to help support digestive health. While probiotics are important, helping to digest food, absorb nutrients and maintain gut health, they work even better when paired with prebiotics and postbiotics. Prebiotics feed and nourish good gut bacteria, creating the ideal environment for digestion. Postbiotics help support immune health and overall good health. Together, these three are a digestive health powerhouse!

About Halo

Halo is dedicated to making the best possible food for all the best fur-kids in your life. They created Halo Holistic foods because as pet parents themselves, they wanted a food that was responsibly sourced without compromising on nutrition. Their mission is to make the healthiest, most nutritious pet food to help your pets truly thrive. No gimmicks, no phony claims—just great pet food you can feel good about feeding!

Top 1000 Contibutor

Not a hit

I’ve been trying different brands of “healthy weight” cat food since he’s a big boy at 18 pounds. Thought I’d try this one as well, and since I mix different brands together, he seems to leave these in his bowl every day. I will donate the rest of the bag and keep trying different brands from Chewy.

Cat just wasn't interested in this dry food

I'm sure it is good quality but my 12 year old cat didn't much like it. Wish more cat food manufacturers would pay attention to the studies linking hyperthyroidism with fish - which is NOT part of a cats natural diet.

Mr. Binx loves this!

My finicky guy really likes this food, and I’ve noticed a change in his energy level as well. He plays and runs like a kitten plus his fur is so shiny and soft again. I appreciate the good ingredients that Halo puts into its food and hope the formula never changes. Basically,b/c Binxie will know and then we’ll be off hunting for another dry food! Thank you Halo!

Hmmmm

My cat has a new FAVORITE HALO brand food he goes TOTALLY bonkers for it, I was surprised he could not eat this food the pcs are way to hard for him to chew. I wish HALO or someone would make a flatter hard food for kitties who have a limited amount of teeth!!!

why did they change the recipe?!

My cat LOVED his halo dry food prior to them changing the recipe. Now he HATES it and is repulsed by it. He literally won’t even walk near it. Now I’m struggling to find a new dry food he likes. Shame on Halo.

It's a No Thank You from my Siamese

I was hoping my cat Luke would like this because it appears healthy but even after slowly introducing into his diet, he would vomit almost immediately..

AWFUL and DISAPPOINTED

I've been purchasing this food now for some time, and my multi-cat household loved it....until now. Purchased "NEW" formula and packaging, and my cats would rather starve than eat this. The bowls literally sat untouched, whereas previously they could not wait to chow down. I had to buy a random alternative, until I find another permanent go-to dry food. I will NOT ever be buying this again. What a disappointment : ( : (

cat won’t eat new recipe

This food previously worked miracles for my constipated cat. He loved it for years but he won’t eat the new formula.

My cat said NO

My cat used to love this food very much, somehow he refused to eat the new bag I just opened. Something wrong on this food, I think the manufacturer changed the formula, my cat would rather starve than touch the food. I wonder what did they do to this food.
