new snack item
By birdfreak on Jan 28, 2021
Actually, I thought more of this "cake" than my chickens did. After close inspection they decided they didnt care for it. You have to see it from my birds` point of view though - they go for LIVE bugs, and the incorporated meal worms are dead [dried]. I raise live meal worms for them which they LOVE! However, it was not a complete loss since other birds, including turkeys, ate the entire square after I broke it up...weird that the chickens like peanuts but ignored the ones in the snack square. Go figure. I think they are spoiled companion birds.

Smaller than you think
By Chickens on Aug 22, 2020
I was looking to fill my order to make the $50 minimum for free shipping and came across this for my chickens. I have purchased similar items from retail stores That are much larger and compared this item ..I feel that the price was a little bit more than what I would’ve expected for the small product that was received.

my hens love these!
By Lizzycat23 on Jun 5, 2020
Wow, my hens went nuts over these, even from a very young age (about 8 weeks). They are now about 13 weeks old and can't get enough of these. I keep one in a suet cage dangling inside their coop so they have something to do before I let them out into their outdoor enclosure in the morning! Great product!

Very happy interested chicken!
By Jorden on Feb 15, 2020
I bought this one and the corn version. The corn one was gone in a few days but this peanut one was immediately pounced on! They are so excited, all 3 hens, non stop, having an excited go. I bet it’s gone in an hour!!!

Chickens go crazy for Treat Squares!
By Bebe on Aug 22, 2019
My chickens love these Treat Squares and they are good for them too! There are many varieties available online at Chewys so I alternate the different varieties so my chickens don't be bored.

Girls wouldn’t eat it.
By Naomijm on Mar 27, 2019
Thought I would try this for my spoiled girls but they just pecked at it for a moment and walked away. They did not eat any of it maybe the squirrels will.

Our girls adore these
By RachelH on Mar 1, 2019
They love all the Happy Hen treat squares, not picky about flavor. Keeps them occupied for hours during bad weather. They can be a little pricey, but it's a quality product that doesn't skimp on the meal worms.
