I got this fountain because they always looked so cute when I would see them while shopping. And it is very cute, and it feels like good quality material. I like

I got this fountain because they always looked so cute when I would see them while shopping. And it is very cute, and it feels like good quality material. I like the ceramic and the overall design of it. However it falls short with everything else a fountain should do. The bowl is really shallow so it’s easy to splash or spill, it has a small water reservoir so I felt like I was filling it every day, and the water flow is inconsistent especially because the lid with the hole doesn’t stay in place. It’s disappointing because it’s very cute! I just wish it functioned better.

I have four cats so I wanted to add another water fountain. Their first one held 2 liters but it was hard to maintain clean as it has high traffic so I decided to go with this design for less contamination. It worked but the water runs out in one or two days and I come home to the top cactus on the floor. After three months the top cactus cracks. They paw at the cactus when the water isn’t flowing and it’s not heavy at all and easily toss it over. If only the top was heavier and the base bigger for 2 or 3 liters instead it would have been perfect. It is very easy to clean and my cats love drinking out of it but design wise it’s disappointing for the cost. I didn’t want stainless steel or plastic because ceramic naturally keeps the water cold and crisp in the house and my cats love running water. I felt like I wasted money on the fountain and filters and should’ve just bought the same model I already have.

It arrived safely as you can see from pics. Ultimately we kept moonlight one because that’s what our picky kitty chose. There’s nothing wrong in fact for the sale price I think it’s better deal because it does include water flow adjuster. The moonlight one does not. Chewy does sell water pump replacement that has that if that’s a feature you need. Also in case pump goes bad you already have replacement. Also includes cleaning brush and filter to use with pump.

Shipping issues seem to be fixed

I know they had previously listed this item but folks had issues with it breaking in shipping. Mine came in foam and was not damaged, which is an obvious plus. So

I know they had previously listed this item but folks had issues with it breaking in shipping. Mine came in foam and was not damaged, which is an obvious plus. So far we love this fountain and it is really cute. The cord is a USB type with a speed adapter, so you’ll need an appropriate plug. It has a blue indicator light I’m not a fan of, but it turns red when it’s low which is a plus since you can’t see through the ceramic to tell if it’s low, just if the bubbler stops working. I hope the motor lasts a while since the ceramic is so nice compared to plastic fountains.
