I spend HUNDREDS of dollars in 1 month on cat food. I ordered SEVERAL times a month. My orders were so large, that I couldn’t pick up the box once it was delivered. I contacted chewy, asked them to split the order in two boxes, so it wouldn’t be so heavy. I was then told, sorry, if we split your ,over 100 cans, of cat food in 2 boxes, we can’t give you free shipping. I’m stunned at this point, because I spend more on cat food than I spend on food for me. I said , you are going to penalize ME, because I can’t pick up a single box of over 100 cans of cat food? WHO ever I texted with did not Hesitate and said no. I believe I’ve used chewy for several years. I was a loyal customer, ordering new foods, trying different things, to see if I could satisfy my finicky feline. I also feed several outside cats , and they eat a lot of food. I don’t like to think an animal is hungry, so I always leave food out for them, hence the 100 plus cans of cat food in just one order, multiple times in just one month. So, I said I guess if you can’t waive a fee, for shipping so much food, my only option was to cancel my subscription to chewy and get my food from a different company. I feel confident that with the amount of money I spend MONTHLY, one of your competitors will gladly work with me. The employee immediately cancelled my automatic subscription in a blink of an eye, and that was that. So, in order for chewy to be able to charge me EXTRA on my delivery because it was so large and heavy, the employee cancelled without even trying to work with me. Sorry chewy, you’ve lost a long time loyal customer, that spent THOUSANDS of dollars in 6 months alone, just so you could charge me more for shipping. I think you made a bad choice. But, I guess that’s what it’s all about. I spend all that money
