The L-Shape Scratch Pad was easy to assemble and looks good. However, neither Tiger or Cooper (rescue domestic cats) paid any attention to the L-shape Scratch Pad. Maybe the scratch surface is not of interest to them to scratch. They do fine the our furniture -- couch and chairs very interesting for their scratching. It was hoped that the L-Shaped scratch pad would be an alternative. No such luck. Sorry about that.

I use this to protect the back of my couch from scratches. It is much sturdier than the cardboard versions and does not make a mess. Only one of my two cats is using it but that’s fine with me, as long as it blocks them from scratching the couch. It does not seem like it will easily break, like the cardboard ones have done in the past.

My cat loves to tear at carpet, so I thought this would be a good way to get her to stop. This scratcher assembled quickly and easily, and the felt feels like exactly what my cat loves to rip at. It looks pretty nice and feels durable. I didn't think she'd care about the included toy, but she loves it! Both of my cats like to sit on the shorter end also. My cats have some bald spots on the backs of their legs from sitting on cardboard-- I'm hoping this is a little gentler in that regard

Sturdy felt scratcher

My kitten loves L-shaped scratchers and I wanted one with wooden sides. It’s aesthetically pleasing and she seems to enjoy it. I had to remove the bell on the dangle

My kitten loves L-shaped scratchers and I wanted one with wooden sides. It’s aesthetically pleasing and she seems to enjoy it. I had to remove the bell on the dangle toy as her claw kept getting caught in it. As a general rule I will take the dangle off at night or while we are not home in order for her to not accidentally get caught in it. Worth it. Easy to put together.

Feels flimsy and the laminate is low quality
