Both our dog and our cats love rabbit, and I thought these would be an option to another freeze-dried brand we crumble over their wet food as a topper. The photo of these Hare of the Dog treats seems to show disks or patty type treats, and usually freeze-dried treats we buy are soft and easily crumbled or torn apart. (A question for this product was also answered that they would be more chewy than hard). Well, the treats we received a few days ago are hard as a rock and small acorn size round treats. Disappointed they won't be usable for the cats, but thankfully our Shepherd likes them so they won't go to waste. I just feel photo and description should truly represent what we're buying to avoid unwanted surprises! Good product, single protein, just not like usual freeze dried treats. We will go back to the other brand since they're soft and can be crumbled.
My dog recently has been having gi issues. Despite needing an elimination diet I wanted him to be able to still have treats. He is so happy I got these!
My Bedlington loves ‘em ! Will definitely buy again .
My dogs absolutely love these, even my very picky eater who is not at all food motivated loves these
My dog Charli has food allergies so finding a healthy treat for her is difficult. She is also very picky when it comes to her treats. She loves these!! They are small and easy to chew.
I read that rabbit is a "calming food" for dogs, so I decided to try this treat for my energetic springer spaniel. She loves it! I love that the treat is 100% rabbit; only one ingredient so she gets pure rabbit and no fillers. Only the good stuff for her! Pieces can be 1 to 1.5 centimeters in diameter. Easy to pop in the pup's mouth, but I cut each piece into two or sometimes four as I use the treats for our everyday, several times a day training (for sit, heel, come, etc.) I cannot tell yet if she's calmer based on these treats, but that's not the manufacturer's claim at all.
This treat is excellent for my dog who was diagnosed with protein losing enteroperathy. The fat content is very low approx 5%. This is the lowest I have found.
My Yorkie loves these. I think he would do anything for one. This will be the third time I have bought these and will continue to get them. I have to stock up. I like the fact there is only one thing in them and it's rabbit.
They come in the same bag as pictured but they are tiny training pieces, not little patties like in the photo and they are hard crunchy bits, not soft.....They are still fine but this isn't actually what you are buying
Difficult for my dog to chew. Didn’t come in the patty format shown in the photo. Came in hard smaller pieces
