My red-belliwd parrot loves these pellets. He came from a home where his diet was basically sunflower seeds and peanuts. The girl who I got him from had him for 6 months and had him on a safflower mix and zupreem fruit. I offered him Harrisons because that is what my cockatiel is on. He loves it. He stopped eating the zupreem by himself and loves the Harrisons.

Two different orders arrived pulverized

Been buying this food for 10 years from various resellers. Most recently, I’ve ordered from Chewy as a new customer. With the first order, a quarter of the bag

Been buying this food for 10 years from various resellers. Most recently, I’ve ordered from Chewy as a new customer. With the first order, a quarter of the bag was broken down into grit. I tried a second order a few months later, same thing! I’ve never had this happen anywhere else. My bird won’t touch pulverized grit, so much of these two orders (3 bags total) got wasted. The shipping boxes were in good shape, so I do not believe this happened in transit to me. This is expensive food to NOT be using all of it.

I’ve always known this is the best pellet as far as nutrition goes it is more expensive, but I have switched back to it and I noticed that they eat last because there’s more quality ingredients and their feathers look better on this food. He definitely recommend it.

More than half the bag was just powder

I have been feeding my parrot this food for over 14 years. It is really the only pellet food he will consistently eat. This was my first time ordering it from Chewy

I have been feeding my parrot this food for over 14 years. It is really the only pellet food he will consistently eat. This was my first time ordering it from Chewy. The bag arrived and more than half of it was just pulverized powder, which my parrot will not eat. He enjoys holding his pellets and breaking them apart. I have never received a bag like this previously so it makes me think it has something to do with how the food is stored (and crushed) and crushed at the Chewy warehouse.
