Does this need to be refrigerated after opening ?

An unopened bag should be kept dry till the best by dating on the package. Once opened, it is recommended to use an airtight container, such as glass or acrylic. Keep yeast away from moisture, which can cause it to mold or spoil. Label the outside of the packaging with the expiration date. You can store in the fridge for up to four months, or in the freezer for up to six months.

Good for all birds but especially the older ones!!

I add a dash of this to the daily fresh vegetables and grains my flock enjoys: most of my birds are older and they can use all the nutritional boosts they can get!
