The shears arrived beautifully packaged in a sleek, protective case that immediately gave a professional impression. Inside, everything was neatly secured and thoughtfully arranged! HASHIMOTO grooming shears are amazing. First of all they are high quality and very sharp. They make grooming my pets nails a breeze. I really could not believe how well they worked. They are beautiful to look at and amazing when using them. The finger hold is lined and the blades snip cleanly. You can use them on dogs and cats, I tried them on my rabbit because his nails needed to be clipped and it was the best nail clipping job he ever had. I usually take him to my veterinarian to have his nails clipped and it costs 20 dollars, now I can do it myself. They are also very good at trimming my dogs paws it clipped the fur quickly and beautifully. I will try them on my cats when they need a clipping. I highly recommend if you clip your pets nails and fur. I also wiped them off and put a tiny bit of oil on a cloth and wiped them with that it will keep them sharp and ready for the next job!

This grooming scissors is very nice. It has a slight curve towards the end, & they are very sharp. I like the lined handle. I have bigger fingers, so it was a little tight on my thumb, but worked just fine. The scissors seem to be made of very nice quality material. It comes in a nice box with a tension adjusting key to tighten or loosen the scissors. It also has a cleaning cloth enclosed. I store it in the box that it came in, which is an extra perk. The scissors worked well with trimming areas on my dog. I would recommend these scissors to others that need to groom a dog or a cat.

The blades were good and sharp so the trim was QUICK. also used the scissors on my long haired kitten who tends to get matted around his neck. He runs at the sight of the de-matting tool. I know you’re not supposed to cut out a mat, but I gave it a try. The curve of the blade made it easy to keep the cutting edge away from his skin. They work well on my elder Great Pyrenees, whose hair is fine but also 'crunchy', which has made it difficult to get an even trim on before, since other shears allowed hair to slip through. The finger holes seem a bit snug, as I do have large hands. Time will tell if the additional friction becomes irritating.

It took a fraction of the usual time, and I could get a more precise, close overall area of fur with each clip. Ordinarily, I would swipe an area of fur repeatedly to even out lengths and thickness. My dog’s fur grows fast, thick and very long, so I appreciate how the Hashimoto Professional Curved Grooming Shears improved my grooming ability. I cut and trim the dog’s fur at home frequently. These shears are my favorite tool for the job.

While our pets don't have overwhelming amounts of hair/fur, there are still areas to groom (back of neck, around ears, paws) and these made it very easy. I cant remark on how well these would work for a dog with a thick and long coat like a Samoyed, but they worked great for our pups and cat.

The curved ends make it so you are less likely to knick the skin. Used on a full blood Pomeranian. Will be using these again in the future!
