Will this work for the 3mm prongs?

The 2.25 mm fits 2.25 mm, while the 3.2 mm fits 3.0 to 3.2 mm, and the 4.0 mm fits 4.0 mm.

Does this replace the trachea plate? Is that the part you remove from the collar to replace with this?

The Herm Sprenger Stainless Steel Prong Collar ClicLock Dog Collar Accessory replaces the centerplate on the prong collar. The original centerplate is removed during installation and should be kept for future use if needed.

Easy on-off!

We have a 4mm (thick gauge) pincer collar for our German shepherd which was very hard for me to remove, resulting in me just pulling the collar over my dog’s head

We have a 4mm (thick gauge) pincer collar for our German shepherd which was very hard for me to remove, resulting in me just pulling the collar over my dog’s head to remove it. He hated it and it was cumbersome. This accessory has been a game changer for me, making the removal seamless and easy, while maintaining the integrity and strength of the collar. Highly recommended!

Missing piece and no instructions. If my trainer didn't know how to put this on, by breaking down another collar to obtain the missing piece, it would have been wasted money. As it is, I had to pay her for a collar because she now has an unusable one. Herm Sprenger is a good company but they really need to be aware of this problem. Insuggest YOU try to put it on a collar, and see what I mean.

Willie is 135 pounds of muscle. He grew out of his training collar and he also hated it being slipped over his head just before walks. This accessory is the perfect answer to extending the size and makes it easy to put on him before we go out to walk. My dog goes nuts before our walk each day. Think about 135 pounds going nuts! It's not a rodeo event to put on a collar any more.

A game changer for control of my German Shepherd

I have gone to dog training, and have used an e-collar, but when my German Shepherd gets into "prey" drive, this Herb Sprenger collar gives me instant control.

I have gone to dog training, and have used an e-collar, but when my German Shepherd gets into "prey" drive, this Herb Sprenger collar gives me instant control. A real game changer as my GSD is 90 pounds and I'm 135 pounds and 77 years old. Now we love our walks.

When my dog pulls, she has broken the latches. I need them since my hands are not strong enough to easily put on her pinch collar without a latch. She has broken a couple of them, and at this rate I'll need to buy several a year. Still, this is the least painful pinch collar and I want to protect her neck and throat.

Love our ClicLock

This ClicLock really makes putting on and taking off prong collars so much easier. I'm an older dog owner with some arthritis setting in, and was starting to struggle

This ClicLock really makes putting on and taking off prong collars so much easier. I'm an older dog owner with some arthritis setting in, and was starting to struggle with putting on my dog's prong collar requiring me to pinch the prong tips. Wow, this device makes that task so much easier and I can now quickly put on and easily release the collar. While my dog was very patient with my taking extra time to put her collar on, she seems to really appreciate getting her collar on faster and getting out and about sooner!

Good, but no perfect

The ClickLock makes it easier to put the prong collar off and on, but the black cover for the lock doesn’t stay on when removing the collar. It falls right off

The ClickLock makes it easier to put the prong collar off and on, but the black cover for the lock doesn’t stay on when removing the collar. It falls right off. As a result, it came off when I was at the park and I lost it. Hopefully it won’t affect how the lock functions.
