Feeding Instructions
Fill your pet bird’s food container with as much food as it will consume in a 24 hour period. Usually for parrots (African Greys, Amazons, and Eclectus), the portion may range between ½ to ¾ cup of food per bird. For Macaws and Cockatoos, the portion may range between 1 cup and 1¼ cups of food per bird. Adjust the portions to meet your bird’s specific dietary needs. Supplement this diet with fresh fruits and vegetables. Remove uneaten food and seed hulls and clean food dish before refilling with new food. Always maintain fresh drinking water for your pet bird.
Transition Instructions
While introducing a new food to your pet friend, gradually mix new food with your pet’s old diet. Increase the amount of food over a period of 7 to 10 days. This will allow your pet to adjust to the new food and it will prevent any upset to your pet’s digestive system.

Quality has taken a nose dive
I bought this years for my grey parrot. The last few years the ingredients has gone way downhill. It used to be loaded with more goodies than tiny seed but now it’s 95% tiny cockatiel size seed with very few larger pieces of fruit and a couple cinnamon sticks tossed in. Not suitable for medium sized birds at all.

Nice quality bird food. My parrots love it! The price is reasonable.
Not all seed feeds are created equally
Gave this a try as I received an email stating the normal brand (Volkman) I use to buy on Chewy’s is discontinued. Well, this definitely isn’t the same quality, at all! Seeds are tiny and immature, it feels powdery and is low quality. I only use this as treats but this isn’t even treat worthy. Disappointed because my parrot and I were so spoiled with Volkman’s. Really wish I still had a handful left of the Volkman so that I could show the two products side by side in this review.
Parrots love it!
Sprinkle a little of this on top of our parrots' Harrisons pellets and fresh chop. They love it, and I like that it's all natural!
Bird Food For Fussy Eaters
I have a sun conure. She is a picky eater and this brand is the only one she will eat. Highly recommend this bird food!
My Quaker didn't like
He tossed out all of the fruit and left the rest for me to throw away. A waste of money. Had to leave one star as no stars is not an option.
Noodles likes it!
Noodles likes it and I like it too! No peanuts is a good thing! He likes the cinnamon sticks too.
Not worth it
This seed mixture had so many huge pieces of cinnamon in it- was crazy. My bird has not ate hardly any of these seeds. Definitely won’t buy this again.
Love this food!
This is one of the best African grey foods out there. I feed it with confidence. Top of the line quality. Lots of variety in the mix. And while cinnamon sticks!
