Automatic Pet Doors

Power Pet doors open and close on their own and feature a translucent door panel made of bullet-proof resin. When your pet approaches, the ultrasonic M5 collar activates the panel and quietly powers it upward. The panel then safely closes into sealed grooves for weatherproof, airtight closure.

Relax instead of jumping up every time your cat or dog wants to come in or go out—the ultrasonic collar triggers the door automatically. The fully programmable automatic pet door lets you decide when your pet can come and go, and the deadbolt-locked door panel keeps out critters and intruders.

Engineered for performance, design, value and reliability in all weather conditions, Power Pet Doors install easily into either doors or walls. The motorized doors come in two different sizes to accommodate large dogs or smaller pets and feature a translucent sliding door panel made of high-strength acrylic resin. For wall installation, purchase the additional wall tunnel adapter, sold separately.

A spring-loaded top section makes for quick installation and a locking deadbolt helps ensure security.

MS-5 Ultrasonic Transmitter Collar

Each Power Pet door comes with one small, lightweight MS-5 Ultrasonic Transmitter collar that easily adjusts to fit your cat or dog—additional collars can be purchased separately for other pets, too. The collar’s directional sensing system opens the door only when your pet directly approaches.

Added Security and Weatherproofing

After your pet walks through the Power Pet Door, the translucent door panel slides vertically to safely close it with an airtight seal. A deadbolt automatically engages to secure the door and keep out wild animals, neighborhood pets and intruders.

Everything is included for door installation or use the optional Wall Tunnel (sold separately) to install in exterior walls.

The transmitter collar will operate 3-5 months on a single, replaceable battery. Replacement batteries (part # B3V1A) are available through the manufacturer at www.hightechpet.com

Am I able to place the transmitter on the pet collar? Or does it have to stay on the collar it comes with?

The transmitter can be placed onto a different strap. The back of the MS-5 collar does have a slot for a specific size strap and may not fit every strap.

Is there a way to find the collar when it's lost in the backyard?

I have been using the electronic door for 10+ years. The transponder has always been difficult to attach to a collar. I purchased the rechargeable collar for my 50lb dog but my 15lb dog cannot wear that big collar, so I am left to zip tie it to an appropriate collar because the included collar is not a collar that can stand the test of time. I do show off my door to everyone and they know my dogs are so spoiled because of it.

Sensor doesn't always work

The sensor must face downward in order to trigger the sensor. My pets manage to spin their collar around so much that the sensor ends up on the back of their neck,
