I have two Yorkies. One weighs about 5 pounds and the other close to 13. I feed them twice a day. Can you tell me an approximate amount they should be getting at each feeding?

Dogs weighing 5 pounds will have 1 1/4 cans per day and dogs weighing 10 to 15 pounds will have 2 to 2 3/4 cans per day. If fed twice daily, divide the daily amount by two.

My 4lb senior yorkie has been on a veterinarian prescription diet for a couple years now. We've always battled a picky eater. Recently she decided she was no longer going to eat her Rx food. I had to find something low in fat for her. She loves this food. She eats it with no hassle. It smells and looks so much better than other wet dog foods. She seems to have more energy, plays with her toys again, and has better bowel movements with less stomach issues.
