Both of my rescue dogs absolutely love this food. Valentino came to me with heartworms and several health issues, and he’s a very picky eater, yet he dives into this stew with real enthusiasm. It’s also perfect for my tiny Phoebe, who lost all her teeth; the soft, stew-like texture is easy for her to eat and gentle on her stomach. I love that it supports both weight management and joint health, and the quality ingredients give me confidence that they’re getting real nutrition. This food has truly been a blessing for my two special pups.

Our 8 year old hound started getting lumps. Some of which we had surgically removed. Now that she's getting older I decided that something else needed to be done. I looked at different brands. Since she has been taking them the lumps have disappeared. The larger ones are taking a little bit longer, but I'm sure they eventually will go away. I love this product.

New to Chewy and to Hills. I purchased both the wet and dry option intending to mix the two after learning my 3 yr old Cavapoo has severe hip dysplasia. Half a cup of dry with half a can of wet, morning and evening. After two days it was apparent my dog WAS NOT a fan of the wet. I tried warming it in the microwave, I even pretended to eat it myself, nope. He would take a few bites as if he were gagging and even vomitted shortly after. And how did I determine it was the wet? I took some of his previous wet food(Blue Buffalo Homestyle Recipe-senior+7), mixed it with the Hills dry, sat the two separate bowls side by side and sure enough, he devoured the BB mixture! My mind was settled! I called Chewy explained my situation and they refunded me the full amount of the case without worry or hassle of returning the 9 unopened cans. Thank you Chewy! I’ll be dropping the 9 cans off at our local shelter. I will also make note as many other reviews have, the consistency of the stew is very liquidy. I don’t know if that’s why my dog didn’t like it, but it definitely is not the consistency of a traditional loaf variety. I plan to continue with the Hills dry and have since ordered the BB Senior+7 wet on auto ship for both my Cavapoo and 16 yr old Maltese who are big fans!

My dog liked Hills at first, but Chewy kept sending cases with dented cans, which I wouldn't feed my dog. The dented cans had to be replaced REPEATEDLY. As if that

My dog liked Hills at first, but Chewy kept sending cases with dented cans, which I wouldn't feed my dog. The dented cans had to be replaced REPEATEDLY. As if that weren't enough, the texture changed to watery, and my dog refused to eat Hills anymore. Not only that, but it seemed to make him sick. We just changed brands, and if Chewy sends us more dented cans, we'll cancel Autoship and buy the other brand elsewhere.
