What countries do the ‘global ingredients’ come from?

Hill's sources raw materials only from countries where there are reliable safety procedures in place, primarily in the United States, Japan, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and several European countries. Only two of their ingredients come from China; Taurine and L-Carnitine. China is the number one supplier for many of the specialized vitamins and amino acids for all manufacturers. In fact, China supplies over 90% of the world's Taurine. The reputable facilities that we work with are strictly audited and certified prior to our even considering buying the ingredient from them. They ensure the safety of the Taurine and L-Carnitine received. Frequent inspections of suppliers, analytical testing of incoming ingredients, and testing of their finished products all confirm their commitment to quality. Also, Hill's demands compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Hill's high quality standards, so your pet's food is produced under clean and sanitary conditions. The pet food industry is highly regulated in the U.S. by the USDA, FDA and state departments of agriculture. Additionally, Hill's is a member of the Pet Food Institute, a trade industry organization that works to maintain high quality standards in pet food manufacturing.

My dog loves this!

Honestly our Buster will eat anything since he’s so chunky and he’s on a diet so he’s always hungry. but this kibble, he can eat all by itself, no wet food or anything

Honestly our Buster will eat anything since he’s so chunky and he’s on a diet so he’s always hungry. but this kibble, he can eat all by itself, no wet food or anything extra needed! they’re the right size kibble too, for his little dachshund mouth. i do wish they had another flavor other than chicken because he gets a little bit of allergies but since he eats so little of it every day, it’s no biggie. the size bag is also perfect for our little Buster. This bag can last over 2 months at a time! Chewy always has the best prices too and with autoship, i never have to worry about Buster missing food or anything.

I have 2 pugs and one of them is a picky eater, but also need to be careful of weight gain. Finally found this food that he likes. Otherwise I feel it does a good job of keeping my little ones healthy. Their coat is thick and shiny, and does not cause them any digestive upset.

My fur baby loves this!

I wanted my Chiweenie to loose a little weight since my vet said he was getting “chubby”. My dog will not eat standard size kibble bits, he doesn’t like anything

I wanted my Chiweenie to loose a little weight since my vet said he was getting “chubby”. My dog will not eat standard size kibble bits, he doesn’t like anything in the large size in his mouth, what drew me to this that the kibble is round and tiny, which in a weight management dry food it’s almost impossible to find. Hills is a known quality food brand so I purchased this and my fur baby LOVES it (and he is picky) and it is slowly reducing his weight. I receive an automatic delivery of the 12.5 lb. Bag and it lasts almost 4 months and have been through several orders already, so he’s been eating it for awhile and I will keep him on this indefinitely. Do not hesitate to purchase this, I highly recommend it.

We have a little mini Besgle who is prone to putting on the pounds. I researched the best weight loss diet and Hills came up as recommended. I compared labels to other brands and found Hills had the least amount of fillers and since it’s Vet approved I decided to give it a try. No weight loss yet, as we are only three weeks in, but her digestion has improved, poos are good, and she seems happy with the texture and flavor. We are sticking with it .

I need to cancel my auto ship because I had to buy a bag. What you sent was too small for Jake but it is because Hills changed their packaging. Both are Perfect Weight & both have the same brown dog on the front. I mixed the bags together for him. What I need is the Chicken recipe & what was sent last was chicken & brown rice (very small pieces). So for now I will cancel my Nov. 7th shipment & start over when I need it.
