I have very picky cats who could definitely stand to lose a little weight, so finding the right food has always been a challenge. I’ve tried countless types of wet food, many of which ended up being donated because my cats simply refused to eat them. That changed with Hill’s Science Diet Adult Perfect Weight Management Vegetables & Salmon Stew. These 2.8 oz pouches are made with natural ingredients and are high in protein exactly what I was looking for. To my surprise and relief, my cats loved this food. Not only did they eat it eagerly, but they actually cried for more! I had zero issues getting them to eat it, which is a first. It’s rare to find a healthy food that picky eaters enjoy, especially one that supports weight management. I highly recommend this wet food to anyone looking for a nutritious, portion controlled option for their feline friends, especially if your cats are as fussy as mine!

Ideal for Travel

The product was fresh, with a healthy appearance and smell. I have two cats, one that will eat everything placed in front of him and the other who is a picky grazer

The product was fresh, with a healthy appearance and smell. I have two cats, one that will eat everything placed in front of him and the other who is a picky grazer. Both cats appeared to enjoy the food, but the grazer was a tad reluctant to break his routine and switch to a new food. I gave some to a co-worker that has a cat, and she said her cat loved it. I found the packaging of the food to be very convenient when traveling. Not heavy or messy like cans and individually sealed portions. Rip, feed, throw away.

Real Rice and Vegetables, Cats Love It!

My cats absolutely love this wet food! I have 2 older cats with sensitive stomachs and this did not give them any digestive issues. You can see real pieces of rice

My cats absolutely love this wet food! I have 2 older cats with sensitive stomachs and this did not give them any digestive issues. You can see real pieces of rice and vegetables in the wet food too, which is great to see whole ingredients! There is very little smell, if any, which is great for fish-based wet foods. The consistency is perfect for them too, not too wet but just wet enough that they stay hydrated and eat all the food instead of lapping up only the juices. My only issue is more of a personal one - I prefer cans to bags as you can get more of the food out easily from a can. Bagged wet food is trickier and requires more time to get it out, plus tearing the corners sometimes sputters some of the juice out onto me, but again this is a personal preference. Both my cats 100% approve!

This looks like good food however i have mixed results with my cats .my indoor cat mostly licks the sauce off and leaves the pieces,the same with one of my outdoor cats. My other outdoor cat wont touch it. I do have a visiting almost feral cat who comes daily and he devours it but i have to add that he will eat anything i put out so he doesn’t really count as a critic.i believe hills is a quality product but i have yet to find a food that my cats actually like.i will continue to offer it to them - they could always change their minds as cats often do.

We have bought Hills cat food and still buy some too but this one didn’t go too well with our cats. We have 13 and only 1 would eat some of this mix. They all like

We have bought Hills cat food and still buy some too but this one didn’t go too well with our cats. We have 13 and only 1 would eat some of this mix. They all like salmon but just didn’t care much for this one. I don’t know why they didn’t like it but when all the cats were done eating most times this one was still in the bowl and mostly untouched. The 7 year old would eat a little of it once in a while but wouldn’t eat more than a small amount.

This food is conveniently packaged, however squeezing it out if the bag leaves some inside. I prefer cans. Now 5 out 5 of my cats all ranging from 2 to 12 years of age absolutely love the taste. I could barely get pictures because their lips were in the way. It is perfectly portioned and caused no GI upsets.

Vegetables and salmon are my top choices in ingredients. Also, Sam is a candidate for weight management. I thought it would be perfect, but Sam doesn't agree.

I think if my cat where on death row for committing a terrible crime, Hills Science Diet Adult Perfect Weight would be his request for a last meal. I catch him longing

I think if my cat where on death row for committing a terrible crime, Hills Science Diet Adult Perfect Weight would be his request for a last meal. I catch him longing for me to open him up a bag since we first tried it out. It's definitely too soon to tell if it will help with his weight problem, but as for taste and likeability, my kitty, Paul, would give it 5 claws up.
