When I got my Australian shepherd, she was on Victor HiPro Plus dog food, then they had a recall in 2023 and I’d had issues with finding the right food since. My vet recommended Hill’s and we started with the chicken recipe, but I suspected my dog had a bit of a chicken allergy so I switched to the lamb but still had issues. I switched to the salmon recipe and almost instantly it seemed like her constant paw licking stopped!

Our Lab/pit bull mix had skin issues causing obsessive biting and itching tendencies. We did our research and tried the salmon and brown rice mix. He (and our other mixed breed dog) love this food and devour it at meal times. My Lab mix had almost completely stopped with the itching/biting tendencies and his belly skin is clear. I would also note that both of their coats are starting to have a shine after two months time.

This brand of food is very high quality.

If you are using a lower quality of food and start using Hills you will see the difference in a matter of a week or so in the coat and general well being.

My 9 year old pittie was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma. This was the food the vet recommended when she stopped having an appetite. She has allergies that keep her from eating chicken. It kept her going for another active 9 months after diagnosis and she never went back to her food she ate prior (and for the beginning of her entire life). Highly recommend this dog food!

Salmon dog food

My Max accepted this food, which was recommended by his vet d/t possible allergies. He throws up less & doesn’t lick his paws as much.

Perfect for small dogs

Doggo LOVES the taste, even though she loves just about any flavor. Good size kibble to hide in treat toys or snuffle mats for enrichment!
