I am really sad. My cats LOVE the dry food version of this. I tried to feed this to my cats and they literally sniffed it and walked away. Note to self…don’t buy a case of food. Even my cat that eats anything didn’t want it. I have no clue what is wrong with the food but even when I put it outside for the stray cats in the neighborhood it was left uneaten except for flies and raccoons. Sad. Something about the way the food is presented is unappetizing. I wonder if it would be better as a gravy? Unsure. Hoped they would love as much as the dry version. Would like to get my cat a Hills wet food they would eat.
Cat was having trouble, and it was suggested trying something for sensitive stomach due to age. Hill's is supposed to be a better type food. However, neither one on my cats would touch it. Both immediately walked away. Left it out most of the day with no success. Wasted my money but I'm feeding strays and they are getting fed well. Won't buy Hill's again.
My cat has a very sensitive stomach and regularly graces my carpet. At first he didn't want anything to do with this food, even when mixed with his old food, but it has taken a couple of weeks but he is starting to come around. We have a visiting cat that doesn't have any tummy troubles and he loves it. Thank you, Chewy, for being there for us.
My cat is diabetic and hyperthyroid and getting her to eat any wet cat food is a struggle so having her eat half a can is a bit of a triumph! I can't say it has been any easier on her stomach than any of the other foods.
Food is excellent for our senior cat. She really enjoys it. The food seems to agree with her.
My vet recommended this food for my cat with a sensitive stomach. But he simply won’t touch it. The food is extremely dry. I have chopped it up, added broth from other food, tried to hide a little in other food - no go. He hates this food. Now I have 2 expensive cases of canned food that I can’t use!
I adopted a male cat from a shelter and they were feeding him Hills Science Diet and I switched to the Hills Science Diet for Sensitive Stomach & Skin. This agrees with him, and he really enjoys meal time.
I bought this for my senior cat who is having digestive problems. He will not eat it at all so it was a waste of money. He is not overly finicky. My other cats won't eat it, either.
