Is the can and the lid of the can BPA free

The internal coating used in Hill's 2.8-ounce and 5.5-ounce cans does not contain BPA. Hill's produces the large cans (12.5 ounces and 13 ounces) in 2 manufacturing locations which have different can suppliers. Cans used in one location do currently contain BPA in the internal coating. A new coating has been identified from this can supplier that does not contain BPA. Cans from the second production location do not contain BPA in the internal coating. These cans will contain the letter "W" in the manufacturing date code.

My cat has been on the prescription version of this food for over a year. My vet said that if my cat tolerated the prescription version well if I wanted to try the non-prescription version I could so I did the two times I gave this to my cat he promptly threw it up and then proceeded to throw up until he was completely empty of anything. Contacted chewy about it as well.

My cat is apparently picky

My 11 year old Siamese who has no problem with Hill’s Science kibble ate 1/3 of a can of this and has turned up his nose at every attempt to feed him afterwards

My 11 year old Siamese who has no problem with Hill’s Science kibble ate 1/3 of a can of this and has turned up his nose at every attempt to feed him afterwards. Now he leaves it in the elevated dish until the roaches come for yes. Once dished immediately cover with a fitted plastic cover and store in the refrigerator, so that’s not it. Now I have two trays of food that he hates and I have to go to the grocery store tomorrow for what I know he’ll eat.

I switched to this food bc my cats were experiencing frequent loose stools. Since changing to this food, their stools are formed, there is less litter box odor and

I switched to this food bc my cats were experiencing frequent loose stools. Since changing to this food, their stools are formed, there is less litter box odor and actually less stool in the box. While it is significantly more expensive than what we were feeding them, it's definitely worth the money to have less tummy upset.
