The recommended feeding guide is based off the 12.8 ounce cans. For a complete feeding guide, please refer to the following image below:

Regarding ingredients for the Sensitive Stomach Chicken & Vegetables canned wet food, I don't see in the ingredients any grains or soy. Can this wet food be considered grain free? It does not specifically say that on the labeling.
Answer by ChewyJul 27, 2020
This food is grain inclusive as it contains oat fiber.

I see there is sugar in the canned sensitive salmon formula. Can you tell me the role this plays in the formula? Thanks
Answer by ChewyDec 04, 2020
Sugar in the food can mask the bitter taste of some other ingredients, can make the food more palatable and changes the texture of the food.

Dogs like it/dented cans

My dogs enjoyed this food, and it seems to be working well enough, but this shipment in particular came very dented, and one can may have leaked(?). There are some weird brown bits on top of one can. I really wish that Chewy could improve their packaging. Almost every box I received from Chewy is open in someway, but this time the denting was a little out of control. This food is too expensive to throw away, but I honestly don't know if it's safe to feed in this state. It's also a good that I can't readily by off-the-shelf at local pet supply shops. I'm going to end up, throwing away most of these cans. It's very sad.

Miss Daisy loves it!

My 13 year old schnoodle was starting to have issues with vomiting all of a sudden and was at times gassy. Concerned, I took her to the vet $800. Dollars later and just getting boiled chicken breast for a week and antibiotics for GI, she was slow to feel much better and I worried for her nutrition. Called vet yet again and they offered hospital stay and IV fluids, which I did not do. After own looking things up Schnauzers/etc. can be prone to pancreatic issues/digestive issues . I started this food and I am amazed. She loves it! Seems to be in good health and the bowel movements are super healthy looking.

Nutritious & Tasty

I have a 3 year old Boxer who has struggled his whole life with digestive trouble and allergies. We finally found Hills sensitive skin and stomach after countless trials of trying other brands and this works for him. He is also a very picky eater and so to find a food he likes the taste of and does not upset his stomach is nothing short of miraculous.

Quality Issue

Ordered 3 12 packs (36 cans). The product is dryer and crumbles, unlike previous orders. Hill's customer service gave me 2 possible reasons: 1) the product may have been frozen during shipping or warehousing; 2) some of the moisture may have evaporated from the cans. Neither reason makes much sense.

My dog’s favorite can food

I had to switch my 14 yo schnauzer to can due to all her teeth extractions and history of GI stomach issues. I was looking for a low crude fat diet and love how it’s made for sensitive stomach and skin. My dog eats all her meals and no poop issues

Nice food to add to dry for picky eaters.

I already use the dry version of this. One of my dogs prefers to have some canned added and this have worked out well. It has been very consistent in mixture and is not full of water.

Great for Schnauzers

Miniature Schnauzers are prone to pancreatitis and they need a low fat food that easily digests. This is the best canned food for that. Our Lucy loves it!
