This medicine contains 20% USP alcohol as an inactive ingredient. If your pet is sensitive to the odor of the alcohol preservative, a 10 to 20 minute period should be allowed for the alcohol to evaporate before the liquid or food is presented to the patient. Occasionally, when dosed directly into the mouth, the animal may shake their heads as a response to the alcohol preservative.

Works With Other Supplements for Sick Birds

I have used this for my sick parakeets along with colloidal silver 10 ppm one tablespoon of CS to 7 tablespoons of water and add 7 drops of this Homeopet Nose Relief

I have used this for my sick parakeets along with colloidal silver 10 ppm one tablespoon of CS to 7 tablespoons of water and add 7 drops of this Homeopet Nose Relief. Change solution daily. Also use a black reptile heat bulb on one corner of my flight cage. Improvements seen on day 2, continue treating for 7 to 10 days. Then half dosage if needed longer. I've had only good results, however I have never tried the Homeopet on its own. The combination works well, birds always recovered to good health. Plus I recommend chick grit with probiotics sold here on chewy for continued health.

Lucifer was sneezing a lot and just wasn't his usual 'pet me, feed me 24/7' self. I don't think he had a cold, because his eyes and nose were clear - probably just my old, drafty apartment in the cold weather. But I tried this on him and he improved dramatically. He's back to driving me nuts and I'm so grateful. He's a wonderful, loving cat.

Bought for a cat that was congested and sneezing with watery eyes.When it arrived I decided to read more reviews and then decided not to use it because a few of the reviews scared me.I instead put the cat in the bathroom and ran a hot shower for 10 minutes and the steam helped.I also boiled a pot of hot water and put it on the floor wherever they were sleeping so the steam could raise up.

I decided to try this because almost every cat in our area have non stop sneezing and goopy eyes. I got this dosed all 6 of my cats and then added it to their water. After 2 doses my cats no longer are sneezing or have runny eyes. I have continued putting a few drops in water and they all are still good. Brought home 2 kitten found in highway last night and they also had same thing dosed them also and are better not gone yet but it is helping. Very thankful to have found this.
