This is a nice product that my cat did like but there isn't much she won't eat! I thought the little box the mousse came in would also double as a "bowl" but it really didn't. It is too narrow and deep for the cat to lick out of. I transferred it to another container but still found it to be a little messy. To be fair, the cats make messes but don't do housework so, it is just another thing for me to clean. If it were up to the cat, she would give it 5 stars.

my cat has become so picky but he seems to really like this, i hope he continues to like this. it is a very smooth mousse which is perfect because he only has 1 tooth. the only thing I dont like about this is the artificial phosphate they added- tricalcium pphosphate, get rid of the unnecessary artificial phosphate & this food would be perfect. no problem with the box i just scrape it out with the spoon then add a little warm water stir it around in the box & scrape the rest out.

The Honest Kitchen Chicken Mousse in Goat's Milk texture was less condense than other mousses tried but it looked and smelled great. The true test came when served to the furbabies, who enjoyed the food. One of my furbabies would run when I came out to take her picture but she did enjoy the food. Mistique (1 of the furbabies) licked her bowl clean then went to her sister's bowl to eat her portion also.

I add a very small amount of pumpkin or a light sprinkle of Fortiflora to attract the cat, who seems to have lost some of his sense of smell. Even plain, he loves it. For the carton, I wonder if they would consider doubling it in size and adding a screw-on top, like a milk carton. Or a pouch. However, it's likely they chose the carton after much testing. Would add a picture, but we just ran out, I've ordered more.

The cats love it! The packaging not so much.

My cats loved this and ate every last drop! It's fairly liquidy, no chunks, so good hydration for the kitties. The only downside is the package. In my experience

My cats loved this and ate every last drop! It's fairly liquidy, no chunks, so good hydration for the kitties. The only downside is the package. In my experience the packing is awful. While it looks cute in the little box, I cannot get it to open properly following the instructions on the box. Once opened most of the product does come out fairly easily, but a good amount is still left inside. So, I have to get a spoon or something to scoop out the rest without feeling like I'm wasting so much. The packaging is also not recyclable, though many pet food packaging is not. Would be better suited for a pouch or plastic bowl packaging. But again the cats loved it and would be great for cats that need that extra hydration!

The Honest Kitchen Chicken Mousse was a hit in my house. We have a new cat, and the second I cut open the carton box he was all over me. I could barely get some squeezed out on a dish before he was lapping it up. I had to use a spoon to scrape the last bit out, and Willie absolutely cleaned the plate. He then tried to lick the inside of the box. He does love his food, but I've never seen him go at something like this. It's the first time he's ever had mousse, but I can see it's going to be a staple in our house.

Good but with drawbacks

Was excited to try this food bc I have a cat that had many teeth removed so I thought this would be a great choice for her. She ate and finished all that I gave her the first time but I think thats more a reflection on her than on the food. I did offer it to my other kitties, I. have many, and they all ate it up except one. However, I absolutley hate the packaging. It takes to long to cut it open and then its difficult to get it all out. Granted a majority of it comes out when you pour it out but there is substantial amount stuck in the corners and side of box. Way too much to throw it out as is. The way the box closes is convenient if you dont use the entire box. So in the end, if I had a kitty that could only eat a mousse texture I would try it again. But for my household it just takes too long to open and dish out so I wont be buying it again, hence the 3 stars.

If I can get the box open, they love it

They lick the bowl clean, but opening those dang boxes is a pain in the tush. The perforations aren't amenable to tearing, and running to get something to cut it

I got this on Friday, opened for one of my senior cats to try. I put half in her bowl, turned around, and she had already scarfed it up! She is very finicky, so I was surprised, but she was just standing there looking at me as if asking for more. Day 2, more of the same, figured I should place an order since I have 6 cats, 4 that I will feed this new food. My cats are very funny in that they only like chicken, and will not eat turkey or duck . . . and the chicken was out of stock everywhere I looked. I will say it is more expensive than the foods I had been feeding. I also think the packaging needs some work as it is hard to get all of the food out of the little carton (cute, just not too functional).

My cat loves the Mousse

My cat definitely loves The Honest Kitchen Grain Free Mousse. The key ingredients are chicken, chicken bone broth, chicken liver and goat milk. My cat mostly eats

My cat definitely loves The Honest Kitchen Grain Free Mousse. The key ingredients are chicken, chicken bone broth, chicken liver and goat milk. My cat mostly eats dry food, so I use the mousse to help deliver her daily Miralax, and she only needs a small portion of each box. I gave the 4 star rating because of the packaging. I find the boxes to be more difficult than similar products in individual size tubes that are easy to squeeze. The Mousse itself would get 5 stars.
