About This Item

Details

  • Honest Kitchen Whole Food Clusters Whole Grain Beef and Oat Dry Dog Food is the world’s first human-grade dry dog food. And better yet, it’s made in the USA. Most pet food is something called feed-grade. In contrast, the clusters are made with 100% human-grade ingredients and produced in a human food facility. That means higher quality ingredients and more safety standards, just like you’d expect from your own food!
  • The thoughtfully prepared clusters are complete and balanced nutrition for all breeds and sizes, including adult and senior dogs.
  • Mixing together human-grade muscle meat and nutrient-rich whole foods makes the clusters. Also included are liver, oats, beneficial fats and live probiotics. It’s then cold pressed into delicious, bite-size, ready-to-eat pieces that your best bud will come running for at dinnertime.
  • After that, it’s gently roasted and dehydrated to maintain the nutrients, aroma and taste of whole foods.
  • The recipe contains no feed-grade ingredients, meat meals, fillers, GMOs, artificial flavors or artificial preservatives. There is no corn, wheat, soy, potatoes or legumes. The clusters have not been manufactured, developed or tested by methods that involve experimentation on animals. And there are no bisphenol A, polycarbonate plastics or epoxy resins.

Is this food low fat?

Answer by ChewyJan 16, 2024
This food has a fat content of 16% based on the guaranteed analysis. Clusters do not particularly meet the "low fat" standards so it is recommended sticking with The Honest Kitchen Dehydrated recipes instead.

I’ve never seen my dog drool while awaiting her kibble but for this she did! I have a 2 year old doodle with certain food allergies and a kibble picky palette. Since the transition she has had zero stomach upsets, and allergic reactions. Reading the back of the label I was so impressed at the value and quality and so was my dog! I’m so happy to have found something that not only does she LOVE but also that is good for her! I want to add her coat is shiner with no dry skin but I do also add an omega oil to her diet but I do think this also helps as well since she has been on this kibble longer than the oil.

I recently adopted a golden doodle (unexpectedly, previous owner couldn’t take care of them anymore) - unaware they commonly are allergic to chicken. For the first month, I noticed she was itching a lot and I thought maybe it’s dry skin since I used to have a poodle who was prone to dry skin. After doing some extensive research on every site I could think of, I learned to avoid chicken. I purchased this item in hopes it would help. I add it with a combo of other food items (mainly fish based) and it did WONDERS! She rarely itches and she always devours this food. I also like that their ingredients are good compared to many other brands. It’s frustrating that a lot of dog food says it’s a specific protein only but then contains chicken, chicken by product, etc. this is a yes for us !

Penny ate it. I hope it is good as the claims

Penny seemed to like it OK. I didn't like the smell of it. Didn't smell at all like BEEF. When I opened the bag . . . smelled like a package of cheap store

My pup is very picky but so far he like it.

I see some people tell it makes theis dogs sick? So far my pup enjoys it, and he is very picky, its hard to make him eat even treats. But he loves this brand

Crunchy

Toffee was indifferent, would not eat it plain, it was very difficult to moisten. He switched to something that softened a bit with added broccoli or green beans

Great kibble

The reason for 4 stars is only that a good bit of the bottom of the bag is powder. So much so, that Honest Kitchen suggests using the powder to make treats instead

Made dog itch

Bought for my mom's dog, she couldn't eat it. Got super itchy after one meal. My dog ate it instead though so it worked fine.

High quality dry food

Finally, a high quality dry dog food we can both agree on. And what the founders say in their product video clip is true, it actually smells like FOOD, not off-putting

My dog’s favorite dry food.

Well, I put out a bowl of dry dog food every morning, and my dog nibbles on it during the day, sometimes eating it all, sometimes not. The Honest Kitchen however,
