Are these treated with irradiation?

Answer by ChewyJul 22, 2021
Honey I'm Home! does irradiate the treats and it is very safe. Irradiation makes meat and poultry safer by reducing the numbers of harmful bacteria and parasites. Food irradiation does not make foods radioactive. The radiant energy passes through the food. The food itself never contacts the source of the radiant energy. Irradiated foods are wholesome and nutritious. Nutrient losses caused by irradiation are less than or about the same as losses caused by cooking and freezing. Public health agencies worldwide have evaluated the safety of food irradiation over the last fifty years and found it to be safe. In 37 countries more than 40 food products are irradiated. In some European countries, irradiation has been in use for decades. In the United States, the Food and Drug Administration regulates food irradiation. In addition, food irradiation has received official endorsement from the American Medical Association, the World Health Organization, and the International Atomic Energy Agency.

Are they made in the USA?

Answer by ChewyMay 23, 2021
These treats are manufactured by food safety certified facilities in India. The buffalo comes from ethically sourced and responsibly raised water buffalo from India. These buffalo are grass-fed and free range from birth which means they are grain free. Growth promoters and hormones are never used.

How many inches long are the trachea tubes?

Answer by ChewyApr 28, 2021
The trachea tubes are approximately 6 inches long and are 1-1.5 inches thick.

Why is there no nutritional labels anywhere to be found..?

Answer by ChewyMar 02, 2023
Chews such as trachea tubes, bully sticks, ears, etc. are not considered to have any nutritional value so labeling regulations restrict you from being able to add those details to certain chews. That is why there is nothing on the packaging referencing nutritional information.

Great treats

She loves trachea tubes but was a little put off by the honey coating. She is getting more use to them.

Best chew

I’m convinced these are the best chews for my 2 large dogs but they seem to be out of stock for awhile now.

Magic tubes of joy

My dog will do anything for one of these as a reward. It’s the only treat she obsesses over. She’ll just nose stamp the bag and then me over and over until I had to hide the bag! I’ve ordered regular trachea tubes from other companies. They stink and they are so greasy I feel guilty feeding them to my little lady dog. These are much higher quality, they don’t smell, and they aren’t greasy. They are getting a bit harder to find online so grab them if they are in stock! I wish they sold these in bulk!

My dog buried them

Bought these as a special treat, my dog would immediately go bury them in the woods. Too expensive for that!
