My dog loves these frisbees! They catch the air better than all the heavy rubber kong frisbees. I don’t recommend leaving them as chew toys as they are thin. They are meant to fetch and retrieve not for chew toys. I take these frisbees absolutely everywhere as they are my dogs fav!
My labradoodle loves playing fetch with this toy! I can exercise her better than a restrained walk from the comfort of my backyard deck. Been using for almost a year and still in great shape. If she wanted to chew it up, I imagine she could, but I put it in a safe place out of her reach when we are finished. I wash it up in the sink once in a while when it gets grody. Hopefully the multi pacs will be back in stock soon.
Our border collies play with these ALL day and they last us about a year or so depending on how hard I let our dogs tug on them. Usually we just play catch with them and they fly excellent. I like these better than kong since these are soft and float not hard and fast flying where you could hurt dogs mouth. I have a couple of chuck its but they dont fly true without a lot of English put on them.
Arthur is a 2 year old English Springer Spaniel, and he loves chasing flying discs, but he had a hard time catching them. These Hyper Pet discs are perfect; they fly and hover nicely, they are soft and very easy for him to catch, and they also float, so we can use them in the pool. They seem pretty sturdy, too, although they aren't meant to be chew toys. He really enjoys playing with them - they are Arthur Approved!
For reference, these are the same pink frisbee side by side. The faded one is easily 6 years old. It’s survived two labs and a puppy who loves to chew everything. If you have a fetch loving pup these are great.
I have a 6 month Australian Shepherd who loves to run and run fast. She also likes to chew. The frisbee was a great when we got to open spaces where she could chases them, practice fetch. That was until she chewed through the binding that encases the rim of the frisbee. Then the chewing began. It was in the trash less than a week after I purchased. If you have a chewer, I'd stay away.
This is a well-made flyer. My dog and I have played with it for weeks and it hasn't caused any tear, hole, or rip yet even though he prefers to bite it to pick it up by the middle :( rather than the rim. I am surprised and pleased that his sharp teeth haven't poked through the material yet. The flyer travels well although it does not fly as far as I had expected. This may be my inability to throw it well. I love the assortment of bright colors. I would recommend this Hyper Pet for the great material it is made with and good construction. Try it, I don't think you will be disappointed.
I have a 5 month old Golden Retriever and she loved this from the get-go! Light weight and easy to throw.
OK so my dog stole this from another dog at the park and would not give it up for love or money. After finally getting it away from him, I threw it out to teach him a lesson. I gave him a month to think over his actions, and then I purchased this one for him. He is absolutely obsessed with it. He is a small-ish dog, so the nylon makes it much easier for him to get a good grip--for better or worse!
Chewbacca aka Chewie loves these frisbees. This is his 3rd one! Very durable!
