where do I procure replacement bands for the K-9 Kannon? Mine are shot after 1 year.
Answer by ChewyMar 15, 2021
Replacement bands for the K9 Kannon are not available for individual purchase. We also do not advise opening the Kannon as this will jeopardize the safety and quality of the Kannon.

Is this loud when it launches?
Answer by ChewyMay 24, 2021
There is a thump noise when the ball is shot from the Kannon.

Can you use standard tennis balls ?
Answer by ChewyNov 02, 2020
This launcher is compatible with standard 2.5-inch tennis balls, as well as select Hyper Pet rubber balls.

Can this be used in the house? Or strictly outside?
Answer by ChewyNov 22, 2021
This ball launcher is made for outdoor use only.

Ball precaution

This product works really well if you discard the included tennis ball and use soft lacrosse balls instead. Increases distance and bounce by a significant factor.. Our dog really enjoys it! The manufacturer should really just replace the ball themselves. Tennis balls are not dog friendly. They are bad for their teeth.

Ball Launcher

Our lab loves playing ball. My last purchase of this item did not last but about 2 weeks. It didn’t seem right when we got it. Rubber band did not hold up at all and broke.

NOT THE BEST

This thing does not live up to the hype in its advertising. Does not shoot the ball very far. When I did fire it off my dog didn't seem to care. I have a tear in my rotator cuff and I can throw the ball farther. Sorry, it just didn't work for me.

My Pup Loves It!

Great entertainment for the dog that love tennis balls. They last as long as they are handled properly. In time the rubber band does dry out. We like them so much however, that we just replace. Good price for this as well from Chewy compared to some other sites.

Hard to pull back

I usually give chewy 5 stars, but not on this toy. I am an older person and the pull back is somewhat difficult. Also I agree with other buyers it does not go 70 feet(not that I care, yard not that big). My husband measured and even when he used the launcher it only went 35 feet. The dog likes it and looks forward to the launch, so we are keeping the launcher.

Great Indoor Toy

A rubber band in my old one (7 years) broke after using it indoors for years. This new one is better; my JRT (11 yo and 12 lbs) goes bezerk whenever I pick this up!

tennis ball launcher

Both of my dogs LOVE this thing. I can get it to shoot pretty far but for us, it’s not about how far. They love the noise and the anticipation of it shooting out. Sometimes I aim it in multiple directions to get them extra excited. I always have 2 on hand (one brand new and ready to go when the other breaks). They do last a pretty long time but over the last at least 8 years, I’ve been through a couple.
