  • Healthy and safe alternative to rawhide
  • High in protein, low in fat

Precautions

Please provide plenty of fresh water when giving any chew or treat. Because this is a natural treat, its sizing, color and appearance may vary—this is normal. You may also notice a natural scent and oil while your pal chews; this natural oil may stain your furniture, carpeting or other surfaces. To prevent injury and choking hazard, please watch your pet while they enjoy this treat and be sure to choose the appropriate size chew. If this product splinters or develops sharp edges, throw it away immediately for your pet’s safety.

    My puppy loves these

    By on

My 7 month old Doberman loves these, it’s not a long lasting chew but it’s enough to keep him busy for 10-20 mins. To me it feels like it’s on the healthier side of treats and relatively low priced. I will continue purchasing them.

My dogs love them, I feel they're over-priced

We have a Staffy and an Anatolian. At over $2 each, it's not worth it when the dogs finish them off in a couple of minutes. Yes, they love them and I'm glad they're not rawhides (plastic) but wow, I wish they lasted longer for that price.

    Will entertain for hours/days.

My dog goes crazy for these ear chips!! We’d purchased them previously at our grocer’s, but they are less expensive through Chewy’s. We use these as a chew toy, as well as an interactive toy. They are also great for his teeth!

    Doodle loves em!

This was my first order for cow ears - my now 3 month old pup loves them. I just gave him his second ear today, the first one he chewed down to a very small bit, being the worrier that I am I did throw that away not knowing if the pup would choke or not on the bitty piece, needless to say the pup is just happy having something he is allowed to chew on and that makes me happy.

    do not personally recommend these

    By on

My puppy did NOT like these at all, and probably did not even try chewing them. The ones I received were big (NOT curled up), white pieces of ears. They were massive and probably overwhelming for our puppy (almost a year old). There was no smell to entice him, and it just looked like a big white sheet of paper to him. I am curious as to why the ears are so white - are they treated/dyed? It just did not look 'natural' to me that they were so white. These were a complete waste of money as he did not want to get close to these, so I had to throw out the piece (after numerous, numerous tries) and I'm now stuck with 4 more pieces in the bag that will go to waste. I will stick with other types like My puppy did NOT like these at all, and probably did not even try chewing them. The ones I received were big (NOT curled up), white pieces of ears. Low fat, and high protein!!

    By on

My dog was happy enough about the taste of these to see them as a treat, but not so happy that she finishes one in one sitting. They are very healthy—good for an injured dog on a calorie-restricted diet, which is our situation—and not some human-concocted amalgamation if weird supplemental protein sources ( which is what I typically found when looking at low-fat/low-cal treats). My dog is ABSURDLY PICKY, so I feel as though most dogs would be even more enthusiastic about these than mine is...

Very small and missing the best part of the ear :(

    By on

I purchased several bags of these for my dogs (50 lb basenji x, 90 lb english labrador) during the black friday sale. I am so glad I got them at a discount because the ears are extremely small. In each bag there is one large ear, but the rest are TINY (say, no bigger then a hamburger roll in width/length). I thought I was stocking up, but the ratio of these ears to one standard ear is 2/1. As in, I need to give two ears to equal one (sometimes more). Additionally, if you are like me and buy cow ears a lot, then you know the ear curl cartilage portion where it attached to the head is the "best" part for the dog, or their favorite! I will never purchase these again.
