Thought these were a winner but then...
My cats gobbled this stuff (chicken) right up, initially. I was so thrilled because these look so much better than the typical pate. Really moist and just overall looked healthier. Unfortunately on day 2, when I fed one of my cats the beef can she vomited multiple times after.. and one of them had runny poo later that evening. Such a disappointment. I really was excited about this. Not sure if it was just the beef, my cat doesn't normally eat beef stuff but I'm sure she's eaten it before without issue. Not going to risk feeding it to her again .. unfortunately. Truly a bummer.

I have two cats that were getting FF but after a busted can in a bulk shipment I can’t stand the smell. My MIL was feeding her cats this brand and I feel the quality of the meat is much better and smells more like human grade foods. I also like that it’s a soft pate and not a gelatinous block. My cats definitely prefer it!
Not a favorite
Thought the more soupy consistency would be a hit but my cats do not eat it by itself. I have to mix it in with another brand they like then they eat it.

This food has a lot more liquid than most pate. My cat loves this brands Oh My Cod but was not enthusiastic about any of these flavors.
My cat loves these flavors
I have an older cat and need to feed her a high quality food with good hydration. I recently switched her to this brand and she loves this variety. Yes, it is a higher hydration than normal pates but they need the moisture. I go by what my kitty tells me. She loves both the beef and chicken-tuna.
Mine love it!
I know there is a negative review about this food, but my cats don't like chunks, they like pate and gravy so this food works well for my brood. I started using it for my 16-year-old because he seemed to be getting thinner and not eating much. He laps this up and has put a bit of weight on. Oddly enough, he always had coarse fur, and this food has made it softer! I was really surprised by that. I'm now transitioning all of my cats to this food now.

nothing but goop
This new food is expensive. I spent so much time trying to decide if I should try this since during the pandemic when everything was on lockdown, the Purrky Turkey was unavailable, my cat got out of her good habit. I had to substitute with a lesser quality brand. I love her enough to spend the money even though it came out of my savings. AND IT IS AWFUL. It's soup. The chicken and tuna has a few shreds, the rest is just gravy. The beef is just gravy. She doesn't like it, there's nothing to fill her tummy anyway. And I ended up giving it to my dog!
