TITAN loves his IAMS Lamb & Rice Large Breed
I have a 17 month old Rotty who has been on IAMS puppy since I obtained him and I recently had him neutered and was told that he needed to be switched to adult food after the procedure so it was, to me, obvious to switch over to continued IAMS brand for a Large Breed dog. He was transitioned easily and gobbles up his food, there was no picky eating for this guy. Stools seem solid, cant say that they are any less since between my husbands plate as well as treats he is constantly eating but he seems to have no issues. His coat is beautiful and teeth still maintain that nice white look. Vet checks always find him healthy and my vet did recommend IAMS as his starter food. The only CON, but as stated that could be the abundance of husband food, since he constantly eats, as well as the treats, my TITAN has terrible gas.
Great food - my dog loves it!
My Great Pyrenees loves this dog food. He is not good motivated, and I usually have to buy some toppings so he would eat his food. With Iams, he can’t wait to eat his food - no toppings needed. I wish I’d switch a long time ago. I was buying Hill Science for my dogs for year but the price have gotten ridiculous. My dogs love this food. I’m glad I switched!

Dogs won't eat it
I used to buy Purina Pro Plan Large breed until the price shot up. I switched to Iams Large breed Chicken and Rice and my dogs ate it but not as eagerly as the Purina Pro Plan. Chewy was out of the big bag of Iams Chicken and Rice so I thought I would give the Lamb and Rice a shot. My dogs won't touch it. It's been two days since they ate any dog food so I will need to run out and find a bag of the Chicken and Rice for them.

I use this for rewards and they love it. my dogs come in when callled ,sit and i give them reward. i use this for 4 dogs, 3 are mine and one is a daycare dog. everyone is happy ,mostly me. i feed this to my adopted Greyhounds and there was never an issue with the food quality or their health.
Too expensive
The price jumps in 6 months are astronomical. Good food but looking for another option to purchase.
Dog hates the food and has bloody stools from it!
Definitely do not recommend. My dogs coat and poor behind have suffered from this food. So hard to find a healthy dry food for dogs that isnt $50 a bag
Stopped itching.
My poor babies were itching and scratching and all red on there tummy's. Switched to Iams. Itching/scratching and the redness has gone.
Iams Lamb & Rice
Our 150lb. Akita & 95lb. German Sheppard will not eat this food. Will have to go back to chicken or beef.
Great But
Love Chewys service and availability of products BUT a 30 pound bag and 24 cans of dog food is TOO MUCH for one box. Give the carrier and the senior customer a break.
