As usual, delivery is very convenient. Only issue I have is that the food kibble size was not the same as the other bags I have received (from other sources).

As usual, delivery is very convenient. Only issue I have is that the food kibble size was not the same as the other bags I have received (from other sources). The Kibble size I normal get are the small kibbles, which my dogs prefer as they are aged (12 &13). I have never receive the smaller kibble from Chewy. Not sure what can be done about this, it is the same exact bag that I get the small Kibble in.

The food is fine -packaging & shipping issue

I order this food pretty regularly for my German Shepherd and then I add supplements and certain vegetables in meat to it for his balance diet. I was asked via email

I order this food pretty regularly for my German Shepherd and then I add supplements and certain vegetables in meat to it for his balance diet. I was asked via email to write a review and typically I don't write negative reviews but I have to say that sometimes when I order from chewy, they package everything into one box and it creates damage to the items. This particular order came to me with six damaged canned food for my dog and the bag of food was damaged in its integrity of the kibble itself. Quite a bit of it was crushed and more like sand grains than kibble. When that happens the consumer does not get what they're paying for. Will I order from chewy again? Absolutely. But I just wish something would change with the over packaging of items because it does cause damage to the receiver/customer and in turn, it creates a financial loss.

Again, it took Kobe a minute to adapt to a change in his dry dog food, but I wanted to get him on something that seemed to be an affordable good brand and a good food for senior dogs. He was a rescue for me when he was approximately 1 1/2 years old, in 2016. He is a senior dog, but he runs like a puppy! Now that he has gotten used to the food, it seems to be good for him. He also really liked Rachael Ray dog food until the bad reviews came out a few years ago about that food.
