Sofa...so good....!

We have our paws crossed. Our kit-bits seem to love this - that's a good thing. Now...we wait to see how this affects their hairball output and fur in general.

What happened?

I've had great success with this food until the last bag I purchased. My cats have done nothing but vomit since I opened it a few days ago, it's now in the trash. It also has a different odor to it. I won't be buying this again!

Not my decision

IAMS is our pantry staple dry cat food for all five unique housecats. I have two long hair breeds and just one of those sheds A LOT. There's nothing crunchy nor yummy about these either because these pieces are TOO SMALL to chew and my cat would rather not make the fuss. He's been swallowing these pieces whole one by one and losing weight. He'll pass on this bag.

wow yesssss

I have 2 longhairs, even with brushing they will get hairballs. I tried this product and just wow, I haven't seen any hairball issues in over a month and they are so soft, silky, luxurious, it is so wonderful to pet them even more now and they are not complaining. Even my old constipated short hair eats this and is doing well, feeling silky smooth. also outside ferals get some as they are putting on their winter coat, they are bushy but oh soooo soft. Worth trying. Get a small bag and slowly add it into their current food. we mix theirs in with other food.

caused pancreatitis

The cats loved it but one of them ended up with pancreatitis. She got so very sick, not to mention the $1,000 in vet bills to help her. She’s going to be okay but that was terrible.

Great Crunch!

My human servants provide wet cat food and then they bought this long hair care. (I do have nice long hair and hairballs) They put it in a silver bowl so I eat it for a good crunchy snack in the middle of the night! I am a finicky eater so they were amazed how much I like this kind! Guess, humans don't understand that if you are nocturnal you need to nibble at 2 AM!

Open bags of cat food in my last three orders

My last three orders there has been a hole in at least one bag of catfood. Frustrating as I have to rebag to make sure it stays fresh.

Grain free is not for my two cats

I am sure there is nothing wrong with the Iams long hair dry cat food. My cats will let it alone for days though. If I mix it with the Iams perfect portion wet food, they will eat it until the wet food is eaten up. I am not sure if the dry food is grain free. That could explain why they dislike it. The Salmon and Chicken flavor shouldn't have bothered them. I guess if they don't start eating it on its own, I am going to give the rest to a neighbor and purchase something different at the grocery store until my next Chewy order. Just would like to figure out what they didn't like. I was actually trying to give them something more nutritional. We will try something different next time.

long hair. don't care!

We were so excited to receive our bag of IAMS - Proactive Health Long Hair Care with Real Chicken & Salmon Adult Dry Cat Food in exchange for our honest review. Our long haired blue is SUPER picky. Obnoxiously picky and extra extra picky when it comes to his dry cat food. We had no issues with this bag of IAMS! He enjoyed every bite! Being an indoor cat it's always a struggle with his long hair. Constantly brushing and doing light deshedding. We love that this product can help with that! His coat is softer, we are having less hairball issues and the fact that he enjoys the food is the biggest selling point! Great product!
