We were looking for a door on our shed for our cats to come in and out without letting in cold air when not in use. This door was perfect it was some what smaller than the last door but fit perfect with a couple of alterations. It has good strong magnets and the cats quickly adjusted. Would highly recommend!
The size is great, install was pretty easy, our exterior door is thick so it did not quite fit/overlap. But that was ok. I ordered tinted and got clear. I really prefer tinted, especially given the size of the door. That is why the 4 stars.
My dogs absolutely love it. We installed it while experiencing a heatwave of triple digits every day. No noticeable heat coming through the flaps when they're closed. Be aware of your door material before you start this endeavor! Install was both easier and infinitely more difficult than expected. I feel like the template makes install what I would call "idiot proof", whip out a pencil, some tape, a ruler and a level and let your inner ocd fly for the marking part. Super easy. The more difficult part was the actual cut and drill portion. I thought my door was cheap aluminum with insulation fill. (If I had taken a moment to actually think about it I would have realized there's no way it's aluminum because it's magnetic) apparently my door is actually Steel. So we literally melted the tip off one of my "all material" drill bits and destroyed my "metal" jigsaw bit before going to lowes and purchasing a drill bit and jigsaw bit made specifically for steel. Even with the steel bits it was a fight to cut through the door. Thankfully the alignment had a few mm of forgiveness because the difficulty fighting the material made perfection impossible. That said we got it in and everyone is now happy.
