My senior dog absolutely devours Instinct FreshRaw Meals Grain-Free Grass-Fed Beef Recipe. He can be a little picky, but with this he scarfs it down and then waits by his bowl hoping for seconds! He’s got a sensitive stomach, so I was a little nervous to switch, but this food has caused zero issues. You can tell it’s the real deal, there are visible pieces of carrots, spinach, and blueberries mixed right in. It actually looks like fresh food, not the usual mystery mush. I love knowing he’s getting wholesome, raw nutrition that agrees with him. Huge win for both of us!

No more soft serve potty

My dog Murphy is a 15/16lb beagle mix. He has been on frozen raw food in the past, but due to the bird flu outbreak I switched him off raw food for safety. When

My dog Murphy is a 15/16lb beagle mix. He has been on frozen raw food in the past, but due to the bird flu outbreak I switched him off raw food for safety. When I switched over to this food I did the process very very slowly because Murphy has a sensitive stomach with food switches. It took about a week and a half of transitioning, and he got a pretty upset stomach when his food was 50% old and 50% new, but that has stopped since switching him over. His food serving is 4oz because he is supplemented with a dry food, and ever since making the full switch his POOPS ARE FIXED!!! He always had the tail end of his poop be soft serve, and I've tried so many different foods for him. It's only been a couple of weeks but I haven't even seen him scoot his butt on the grass, so hopefully it'll help his butt glands! I'm optimistic. I only rate it 4 stars because of the price point. It is quite expensive and my dog is only 15lbs. I can't imagine how pricey it would be for a dog who only eats this food and is larger than Murphy. Murphy also has a poultry allergy and I love that the ingredients are straight and to the point. Beef has been a reliable protein for him so I'm glad this is an option for him. I wish the package was resealable because it makes portioning awkward. Other than that, it's a good food!

I think I have the pickiest dog , she does not like kibble I tried so many different brands , I also have two other dogs that were tested by multiple vets for allergies

I think I have the pickiest dog , she does not like kibble I tried so many different brands , I also have two other dogs that were tested by multiple vets for allergies & they cannot have grains period if it came from a seed they have allergic reactions also poultry so I have to watch what food is fed not only to them but all my dogs which is 4 in total because each dog will lick out the other's bowls. So anyways so my next try would be a fresh /frozen dog food but there are so many out on the market & many do contain some kind of grain . But I also make my own semi cooked food for the dogs which they all love but the poodle has issues with that also , but she will eat raw meat with no issues but again so many to choose from , so this brand came up to try so I choose the beef & wow just wow she ate it & licked her own bowl clean , I mixed with the semi home cooked food no kibble and , even just three days I noticed she had more energy & her coat was getting more shinny & soft & her stools did not get loose , so I think I found the food she will eat and the ingredients are awesome .

I didn’t think dog food could make me feel like a hero, but here we are. The first time I gave my pup Instinct Raw, he looked at me like I’d just handed him the keys to the car. This is a dog who usually eats kibble with the enthusiasm of a teenager doing chores—but suddenly he’s sprinting to his bowl like it’s Christmas morning. The ingredients are actually recognizable (I mean, chicken is chicken, not “chicken-ish byproduct”), and his coat has gotten shinier, his energy more balanced, and let’s just say his digestion is now something I don’t mind bragging about at the dog park. Honestly, I’ve never seen him this excited about mealtime, and I swear he gives me a little “thank you” tail wag after every bite. Instinct Raw has turned me into the “cool parent,” and I’m not mad about it.

This is a great product! No smell. The packaging is simple and doesn’t make a mess when opening it. The product was shipped in a sealed cooler with dry ice. I didn’t realize my husband never brought it in but it wasn’t an issue. Everything was frozen solid, even after 24hrs!! My dogs loved it. The simple to portion block was great too. I have three dogs with different needs. It was easy to get the most out of the food for them. They seriously went crazy for this stuff. Highly recommend!

The pups loved it! And that is what matters. They gobbled it all up and searched around the house for more. I do like the idea of giving them raw food like they would eat in the wild. I imagine it being a lot better for them than kibble. The only thing I did not like about this product is that I was unsure if it needed to be cooked or not. There were instructions on how to serve but if packaging stated "no need to cook" that would be helpful. Portion size was great and packaging was good. Shipment went well and everything was still cold.

Tried Instinct FreshRaw Meals for the first time and was super impressed! The package arrived perfectly frozen with dry ice, which gave me confidence that the food was safe and fresh. You can tell this is real food. Both Doug and Carrie devoured their meals. Clearly a hit with the fur babies! While the price is on the higher side, it's totally worth it as an occasional treat or special addition to their regular meals. You can really tell the quality is top-notch. Will definitely be ordering again when I want to spoil them a bit!

Love this food! Great ingredients, my dog loves it and its perfect as a topper or treat. I like to use it on lickmats and enrichment toys as well. When I use it for training, I just use a spoon or spatula to offer it to him. When the package arrived, the dry ice was all melted but everything was still frozen solid.

I am very happy with it and love the ability to keep packets frozen until needed. It thaws nicely and offers them a good variety to their dry kibble.
