So far, so good
By Lolly on Feb 13, 2021
It's taken years of searching to find a wet cat food our cat, Cheddar, will actually eat and he seems to like this rabbit so far. He will not eat the canned cat foods full of gravy. Considering the only wet food he would eat is fresh salmon, the price per can on the rabbit is reasonable. The mercury content in fish isn't good for cats so at least we now have an alternative that he will eat. He gets a half can of this everyday and once a week he gets fresh salmon. His skin and coat is healthy, and this has really helped his digestive issues. We've also slowly changed his dry diet to limited ingredient, grain free.

great replacement for merricks
By Nema on Feb 17, 2021
After merricks rabbit pate became out of stock, I searched for the next best thing. I went with merricks duck pate and my cat was not a huge fan, she ate it but begrudgingly. So I went with a different brand but with a rabbit protein since my cat licks the hair off of her belly and legs and tried this one. Outside of it being twice as expensive as merricks, I don't have any other complaints. my cat LOVES it. If they were a bit cheaper, I'd buy it in bulk!

My cats just like to mess with me...
By Emmalunana on Feb 26, 2021
So before I committed to buy the bulk here, I did buy a couple from a local pet store for my cats to try. They all seemed to like it very much! After getting TWO packs, they just refused to eat it...... not sure if because the ingredients may be a bit different from the ones they had before. They’d come and sniff then WALK AWAY... sigh. Donation it is.

Terrible Product
By review on Feb 14, 2021
We received this canned cat food. Upon opening it looked like sludge. A terrible color and bland almost moldy smell. My cats won’t even go near it. Very disappointed as it was an expensive order. I would not recommend this flavor. The hard kibbles smell of higher quality but again, my cats are not very interested. Very disappointed with this brand and the order.

Yummy in the Tummy
By Chickie on Feb 26, 2021
My cats had been eating the Instinct Turkey. When Chewy did not have the Merrick rabbit available, I tried the Instinct brand of rabbit. I mixed the rabbit with the turkey, as to not shock the cats with a brand change. They loved it and are eating more of their wet food! I am staying with Instinct for now.

Donated it to Pets Meals on Wheels
By Cats on Feb 20, 2021
I donated all of my order to Pets Meals on Wheels since mine did not care for most of these NEW foods I was trying. They ARE GOOD food so I donated 2 entire orders instead of a refund since Cheap Chewy wanted all the food back instead of donating it.. I DONATED IT..so Animals that have none got it.

my cat loves this
By Ruth on Feb 18, 2021
I have a cat who has inflammatory bowel disease and has to eat a "non traditional" protein and my vet recommended Instinct Rabbit. OMW, my Kaytie loves it! We also get the Rabbit in dry version as well, and she never hesitates to eat these two foods. I'm so happy we found this food for her.

Disappointing
By Catsarecarnivores on Jan 21, 2021
Why are their vegetables in this??? Cats are obligatory carnivores and no one should be feeding them peas, carrots, potatoes, aka any plants. They have no use for them and it just makes the food cheaper to produce, but it's bad for our cats!! Only buy foods that are all meat. Please change this recipe to exclude plants and then I will buy for my cats. Thank you.

SIX OUT OF SIX
By Catt on Dec 13, 2020
My cats are spoiled rotten!! Sometimes I think they live better than humans!! I used to feed them Fancy Feast canned cat food as a treat every so often, until they got tired of it and started to leave uneaten portions in their dishes. I didn't mind, since it is not the greatest food for them anyway, but I came across the rabbit meat, while searching for an alternative. It was curiosity that prompted me to order a case of it, but, what a surprise!!! My greedy little furballs were going crazy when I opened the first can!!! They couldn't get their teeth into it fast enough!! Rabbit might not be a natural pray item for cats, but nobody told my gaggle about that!! I recently took a few cans to My cats are spoiled rotten!! Seems that even the pickiest eaters will enjoy this treat!!! Six out of six is self-explanatory! … more

some bunny for you...
By Debbie on Feb 16, 2021
I like to think that maybe the taste of rabbit, reminds our little cat of when he lived on the street. His catch-of-the-day was usually small birds or baby rabbits-left on our doormat so we'd know he was a good provider.
