Seems like a decent “light” food but doesn’t agree with our Labs

Both of my Labs developed voluminous soft stools while transitioning to this food. It’s very dry: there was a lot of dust in the bottom of the bag. At almost 90

This dry dog food offers a great balance of nutrition and convenience. One of the first things I noticed was the high-quality ingredient list, with real chicken and whole grains like barley and brown rice right at the top. The freeze-dried raw pieces mixed into the kibble make up roughly 25% of the bag — a generous amount that my dog eagerly picks out first! The bag is thoughtfully designed with a resealable ziplock top, so there’s no need to cut it open or transfer it to another container. It helps maintain freshness and makes storage super easy. The best-by date was nearly a year out from the day I received it, which is great for peace of mind. I also really appreciated the clear feeding instructions for dogs of all sizes — with guidelines ranging from 5 lbs to over 100 lbs right on the back of the bag. Whether you have a tiny pup or a big breed, it’s easy to find the right portion. It's made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients, and everything about it feels thoughtful and high quality. Great as a food or treat

I use this as a main food for my GSP and a treat for our heeler. It's like a high value treat to our heeler, so we use this in his puzzle toys to help work his mind

I use this as a main food for my GSP and a treat for our heeler. It's like a high value treat to our heeler, so we use this in his puzzle toys to help work his mind. The product itself, I give a 5 out of 5. The packaging I give a 4 out of 5. It's supposed to be resealable, which I love, but it was impossible for me to reseal it given it's location on the bag. Overall, our dogs seem to like it, it gets the excited to eat, which I love. I would buy it again.

My pup has had the freeze dried toppers, which are mixed into this kibble, and he does like them but doesn’t seem particularly excited about this food in general. He does eat the freeze dried bits but mostly leaves the rest alone. To be fair, he does tend to save his appetite for his lunch And dinner, I leave the kibble out for free feeding if he’s hungry in between. So he’s never super excited about kibble, however, I’ve definitely had some kibble that he likes more than he seems to be excited about this one.

My dogs devour this chow. I personally feel it’s a great compromise between complete raw that needs to be frozen and thawed and is messy, and regular kibble. My dogs coats are soft and glossy, they have regular, but not excessive bowel movements and they gobble it up. This chow is easy to store and serve, smells good (for dog food) and the dogs seem to enjoy it and there health seems to agree with it.

I have a really hard time with my doberman constantly wanting to change foods. The Instinct Raw Boost Whole Grain Light Recipe was well recieved. There are pieces in the food that look like small marshmallows. He loved it. The ingredients are well balanced with high protien and all the vitamens Magnum needs for his HD energy level. Well designed package. If you have a picky eater the Instinct Raw Boost Whole Grain Light Recipe is well worth trying.
