Description

For use in animals only. Your furry friend must have a current heartworm test result on file with your veterinarian in order to be prescribed heartworm medication. Please visit your veterinarian to have this test performed annually to protect your four-legged friend. Help protect your pet from pesky pests with Iverhart Max Chews. These soft chews are formulated to help prevent heartworm disease and can also help treat and control the other three most common worms—roundworms, hookworms and tapeworms. This broad-spectrum medication helps to provide safe and effective year-round protection when given monthly and is intended for dogs 8 weeks or older weighing 25.1 to 50 pounds. To top it all off, it has a drool-worthy bacon flavor that your dog will love.

Proudly sourced directly from the manufacturer or their approved distributor. Guaranteed genuine and backed by the manufacturer.

    Hard Chew, Not Soft

By DanaM on Sep 2, 2021

Hard as a rock. I got a box from my vet and my pup just ate it; then ordered them on Chewy. It is a struggle to get my dog who eats everything to eat this. I wrapped it in cheese, covered it in peanut butter, placed the hard crumbs in ice cream and finally in a slice of ham. This was for one chew! Don't waste your money.

My vet no longer carries this. It is so good that I can get from Chewy.

    Amazing price

By Worms on Jun 17, 2021

This came highly recommended by our vet. Waylon tolerated the medication well. The price was amazing for a 6 month supply compared to our vets office.

    Hard chews?

By Arlo on Jan 10, 2021

I ordered these from Chewy after getting the first dose from the vet. These are ROCK HARD and they are meant to be soft chews. There does not appear to be any compromise to the packaging. They are in fact in date, not expired. I am very displeased with the product I received from Chewy.com

    Our dog won't eat them!

By Cookie on May 15, 2020

These large chewable cubes must taste terrible as the dog always spits them out. The smell is a coppery beef which our spaniel identifies even when hidden in her favorite foods. Please bring back the tablet form so we can disguise it with a small amount of cream cheese and ham.

    my two aussies do fine

By aussies on Jun 15, 2020

Does exactly what it’s supposed to. For those that don’t eat I just break it in half, slather peanut butter on it and my dog has no issue taking it. Or hide it in cream cheese.

    Not for every breed

By ChrisB on Oct 29, 2019

I only gave 3 stars because this is one of the specific medications that my pup has a health risk identified by her DNA match. Now I have to find another heart worm med.

    My dog loves it!

By Cardi on Jul 7, 2019

This is the easier way to get my girl to take her medication. She's almost a year old and she loves soft chews. I just break them in half and give it to her like it's a treat. We go fishing and camping on our days off, and she's outside with us. This med seems to be working because she bug free. Even the flies and mosquitoes leave her alone. I'm quite happy with the product.
