What is the difference between Cat’s Pride (premium) and Jonny Cat (coarse) litters?
Both products are made from fuller’s earth clay (obtained about 30–40 feet under topsoil) and contain similar ingredients. Cat’s Pride is a national brand, while Jonny Cat is sold primarily in the Western states.
How often should I change my cat’s litter box?
We recommend changing the litter box (starting with fresh litter) every 7 days if you are using non-clumping clay litter. If you are using scoopable or clumping litter, we recommend changing the entire litter box once a month – be sure to remove the clumps daily and add a little fresh litter every day to maintain a three-inch level.

Tough Liners, Easy Cleanup
Your litter box liners need to be able to take a beating from claws and digging paws. That’s why Jonny Cat recyclable liners are made to be stronger, thicker and more tear-resistant to keep messes inside. They make cleanup a whole lot easier and help you keep a tidier litter box, too!
Strong, Thick and Tear-Resistant
These heavy-duty plastic litter box liners resist tearing, punctures and leaks for performance that won’t let you down. Keep litter and soil in the liner where they belong—the handy drawstring makes containment even easier.

Less Mess, Less Stress
Say goodbye to messes that leak through and litter all over the floor when you pick up the liner. These thick liners contain your kitty’s messes and keep her litter box dry and clean as a whistle.
Makes Cleaning the Litter Box a Cinch
These durable, disposable liners corral cat messes to save you work and worry. You’ll never have to scrape away a sticky mess again, and changing the litter is as easy as tossing the bag and relining. Litter box duty has never been easier!
These extra-roomy liners are big enough to fit most cat litter boxes. Just fold the edges over the top of the box and pull to tighten.
Jonny Cat liners use heavy-duty, 2-mil thick plastic that’s tear resistant and made for frequent use. It’s containment you can count on.
When you’re ready to change the litter in the box, just pull the convenient drawstring, close the liner up and toss it. So simple!

Still a great product
By TUAZ on Feb 5, 2021
I used these liners when they first became available - well over thirty+ years ago. I used their regular litter then too. I started using them again when my cats (who try to dig to China) were able to scratch through double liners. I still use a second, less expensive liner, but this thick liner maintains the cleanliness of the box. Depending on your cat(s), one liner may be sufficient. So, it’s as good a product as it always was. Glad it’s still available - and at a reasonable cost.

Life Saver!
By Ashlyn on Jan 1, 2021
I adopted two cats who turned out to have giardia, so my vet recommended I change out their litter daily to keep the litter clean of any grossness. I grabbed a bunch of these (two litter boxes every day for 10 days. I know.) and they’re amazing. I went from having to completely disinfect their litter boxes every day to maybe 5 minutes of switching bags out and putting the new litter in. Since I don’t have a litter box I bought specifically to work with these, the fits are a bit wonky on my litter boxes, but they’re both lidded so it makes it easier. With all this said though, I probably won’t use them once my cats are better. I have cats that will spend 5 minutes pawing at the box, litter, or whatever they can get their paws on, and they rip a lot of holes in these. It’s fine since it’s a once a day change for me, but once I’m back to a normal schedule the bag will be ripped to shreds by the time it’s time to change the litter. Then they sometimes manage to pee near the tears and it goes into the litter box. It’s a whole thing. So long story short, they’re saving my life while I’m swapping things out daily, but they won’t be staying as a long term thing. … more

Best liners on the market!
By Marie on Jan 30, 2021
I have used this brand of kitty litter pan liners for many years. They are durable, and fit the jumbo litter box very well. The drawstring handles make changing the litter very easy. I just lift it up and put into a trash bag with no mess. I've tried many other brands on the market, and they dont compare. This brand is a great price, and now I can just order it online, when I buy kitty litter.

Does Mostly What It Supposed to
By ItsJohnny on Dec 25, 2020
With three cats in the house, this item definitely made our litterboxes easier to clean which I am grateful for. Unfortunately, we did run into some cons with these liners. We have jumbo-sized conventional litterboxes roughly 21Lx19W. Even with the jumbo-sized liners, it is quite the snug fit and you're gonna have to stretch it a bit. Even with how snug it is, this is not our primary gripe. The real problem that we face with this product is that it is not tough enough for our cats. I know these work for some people, but with our cats, they tear holes through the liner like swiss cheese. During the first-time use it was definitely an eye-opener when we attempted to lift it out of the litter box With three cats in the house, this item definitely made our litterboxes easier to clean which I am grateful for. Just wish they were a bit tougher. … more

Strong bags, don't work with high side boxes
By kpdino on Dec 12, 2020 Top 1000 Contributor
These bags are quite thick and strong, definitely durable compared to regular trash bags without being stiff or crinkly - like a hybrid of a kitchen trash bag and a contractor trash bag. I had my doubts these would work with my litter boxes since both have high walls and one is hooded. These bags just didn't fit - they were too rectangular and long length-wise without enough circumference to fit over the lip of the boxes. In still use these when I do a complete clean of the litter box - I use the bag to dump the trash litter since regular trash bags are too thin and big and these are short and thick enough to be very secure. No more worrying my trash bag of icky litter is going to rip due to These bags are quite thick and strong, definitely durable compared to regular trash bags without being stiff or crinkly - like a hybrid of a kitchen trash bag and a contractor trash bag. Good product for the price!
By Bellie on Jan 8, 2021
I've used Johnny cat litter as well as the liners for years. Johnny cat is reasonably priced at your outlet and I wish you had more. The litter I buy at the store says it is the same but it is not; your litter is more course and does not absorb as well as the same product in my local market; why is that? Your litter is also darker than the one I get in the store.

The Best Liner
By Tiye on Dec 27, 2020
These are the best, thickest, strongest liners out there. Never have to worry about it ripping. Definitely the go-to bag. My only problem is that I just bought a new box from Chewy and they don't fit, just a bit short. According to the measurements on the respective pages, they should fit, but not quite. I've been improvising by taping 2 bags together, but that's not a long-term solution. Jonny Cat, PLEASE make these in a larger size!

Glad I ordered it from Chewy!
By Gerri on Feb 26, 2021
Sometimes when I go to the grocery store, they don’t have the liners. Then I have to go to other stored. Chewy always has what I need and i get it in a day or two.

The best liners
By Judy on Dec 29, 2020
I have tried several brands of liners and these are the strongest and thickest. I’ve found that *I* am the most likely to tear the liner as I scrape and scoop the boxes, but that’s something I can carefully avoid. The jumbo size is much much too large for my boxes but I don’t care because these liners actually work!
