Haven't found a brush large enough, strong enough, and able to remove clumps of fluff 'til this one. GSD under-fluff is everywhere I'm brushing him, and its the first brush he will stand still. Many brushes scratch terribly. If I need to run a brush on my dog, I use it on myself to see how it feels. It doesn't hurt my skin, and it is the only comb my GSD has stood still for a combing. My 3rd GSD, and the best under-fluff comb ever

Great for removing burrs

Our Border Collie gets seed pods stuck in his fur all the time. This is our go to to remove them. Great maintenance brush! It doesn't handle matting in the undercoat

Our Border Collie gets seed pods stuck in his fur all the time. This is our go to to remove them. Great maintenance brush! It doesn't handle matting in the undercoat as well as some of our other tools do, but it does great at preventing them!

Good brush just not for my dog

I was hoping this rake would be good for my medium-short dense undercoated mutt but the teeth are too long to reach his undercoat comfortably, that’s on me for not

I was hoping this rake would be good for my medium-short dense undercoated mutt but the teeth are too long to reach his undercoat comfortably, that’s on me for not knowing better. The rake does a decent good job loosening his fur to prep for the FURminator, but does little for his top coat. The rake itself is well made and comfortable to use just didn’t meet my particular needs.

It hardly took any hair off at all. I think it is because the tines are all straight so it doesn't grab the hair.

Undercoat Rake for Handsome Boys

Used it on my great pyrenees and it is great! It pulls enough fur to make a whole other dog, and he loves it so it isn't painful for the dog.
