I have ordered quite a few of these during the last few years. The medium size is just perfect for my German Shepherds. Their "squeaky balls" are their absolute favorite toys and the balls are big enough I don't worry about them lodging in their mouths. The squeakers are big enough that when they finally fail after several weeks of very tough use, they don't cause any problem and the balls still get some use in old socks . They are the best distraction when we have to leave the dogs in their yard to entertain themselves.
It’s getting very frustrating that many ball listings do not allow the buyer to choose their color. We primarily play with our English Bulldog at night when it’s cooler, so dark colors are NOT ideal! I ordered 3 of these balls expecting logically to receive one of each color. The blue looks light so I was not concerned. Low & behold I was sent 2 DARK blue & 1 red! (See photo) I will say our girl seems to like these, but its definitely hard to see the blue at night. Why can’t I choose the color when I’m paying for the item???
My mom and dad wanted me to have a well-built squeaky ball because I'm starting to lose my sight. I like to try to squeak things til they break, but they were hoping this one would last longer than the 30 minutes it did. I don't like the ball anymore now that it doesn't squeak. You'd think I'd learn not to break my toys so I'd have more time to enjoy them.
