JW Pet Skid Stop Slow Feed Dog Bowl, Color Varies

I bought this bowl because it was a low-cost investment to satisfy my curiosity on slowing down how fast my boy eats. It doesn't slow him down - he still goes at his food in this bowl with fast and furious determination - but, it does take him a little longer to get to all of the food. The bowl definitely does not stay in place. Because it's harder for him to get to the food, he goes at the bowl harder and it doesn't stop moving until he hits a wall. He's even flipped the bowl over in his hungry excitement. I mean, for less that $3, I can't complain.

My 2 year old Great Dane, Bella, inhaled her food before I got this bowl. I was worried about bloat, and this was a great price, so I decided to try it. She didn’t like it at first...she’s get frustrated and whine when trying to get the last pieces of food at the bottom, but she’s eventually gotten used to it. She eats MUCH slower now, which makes me happy. With Great Danes being so susceptible to bloat, I try to do everything I can to prevent it!!

I love this bowl! My AST mix used to gulp her food down like it was a race every single day. It got so bad that she actually threw up a few times with full chunks of kibble not chewed up at all, within 5 minutes of finishing her meal. This bowl has gotten her to more than double the time she took to eat, and she pauses between bites to actually chew her food!!!! The feet keep the bowl in place, so I’m not constantly putting it back after meals. I’m a huge fan, and the price point is great too.

These bowls really help and you can not beat the price. Oddly enough the dogs love them so much that they want to carry them off , lick them clean and then turn them into chew toys. We try to keep them from doing that but with multiple dogs it’s challenging. Luckily the bowls are so affordable that once they are chewed too much they are easily replaced.

This is great bowl and truly slows down my super fast gulper Portuguese Water Dog; he had some digestive issues and eating more slowly is helping. The ridges in this bowl are deep enough that it now take almost 2 minutes to eat his prepared Honest Kitchen plus supplements meals. Used to vacuum this same meal up in about 20 seconds with a simple ceramic bowl. I was worried that it would not fit on the metal stand that raises up his water and food bowls, but it fits over the old bowl, sitting on top of the frame, and the rubber feet keep it from moving around. Very pleased with this product.

The bowl is decent, we feed our dog a cup each day which it fills up to the top with the medium size. When it’s filled to the top it doesn’t really work like a slow feeder as he can eat it fast. Good bowl though, good quality. Easy to clean

I have three puppies that would scarf their food down in SECONDS!!! These bowls really work! Now the puppies take several minutes (4- to 6 mins?) to finish their meal! Only one problem: when I received the bowls, they were stacked and stuck together and the top one had a large chip on the rim. It doesn't interfere with the puppies' eating, it was just a little disappointing.

I got the biggest bowl for my Mastiff pup since she likes to eat her food fast. Well this went horrible. She wouldn’t eat the food out of the bowl. I tried hard love and left it for 20 minutes and picked up then offered it again at next feeding time. This time she waited 10 minutes knocked the bowl over and ate her food off the floor. I have tried several times with same results. I have tried putting carrots in it, treats , her favorite ball with treats in it with no such luck. Not for my dog .

I purchased this for my 105 pound Doberman who eats too fast and tends to get sick shortly after. This is the perfect size for a large breed pooch! Easy to clean, heavy duty and great value! Highly recommend!

My dog can move this bowl around the entire house while he’s eating out of it. The way that the slow feed notches are set up, he really struggles to get the last bits of food out of the bowl and I end up having to tip the bowl over and pour it onto the floor so he can finish eating. Don’t waste your money in this bowl
