What is the difference between beef and lamb tripe?

One is tripe from lamb/sheep the other from beef/cattle, and in addition there are slight differences in the Macro and Micro nutrient profiles.

Not bad, but the smell seems too mild for green tripes

Better than other toppers, at least my dog eats it. I thought that green tripe has a strong smell, but this one doesn't smell anything. So my doggy isn't really

Better than other toppers, at least my dog eats it. I thought that green tripe has a strong smell, but this one doesn't smell anything. So my doggy isn't really crazy about it like with dehydrated fish or meat, but it seems to work somewhat. It provides an additional benefit for his gut health.

We love this product

We add this as a topper to his meals and it is very compelling for them and encourages our pup to eat when he might have an off day. Make sure you add hot water

Shocked

I am absolutely blown away with the dehydrated green tripe! I have an old girl who has CKD who is experiencing some decreased appetite. After reading numerous articles

I am absolutely blown away with the dehydrated green tripe! I have an old girl who has CKD who is experiencing some decreased appetite. After reading numerous articles on green tripe I decided to give the green tripe topper a try since I have read that once frozen trip is defrosted it smells horrific. I opened the bag and my girls nose literally started twitching and she kicked her mouth. I put a few granules on her food and she went right after it. It has an "earthy" smell to it but, not strong but, it apparently enough to entice my girl to eat. Prior to getting the tripe topper I would literally sit at her dish and put small amounts of food on my finger to try and hand feed her. Not tonight. She helped herself to her dinner. I only used a few pieces of this and mixed it in her food and she ate 3/4 of her food. I am hoping and praying this is not a fluke and if it is not a fluke this will be a lifesaver for my old girl. Thank you for this product! I have been so stressed with her decreased appetite to the point I contacted a K9 nutritionist to get ideas on how to make food appetizing and this seemed to work. I am hoping that she will continue to eat thanks to the tripe toppers!
